Do you need a certain level of traffic to apply to Adsense

If someone wants to apply to the Adsense program, does the website they apply with need a certain level of traffic. The person in question wants to apply with a site that is brand new and then start building the traffic after the Google Adsense acceptance.

There is no level of traffic required.

Just starting out.... I would read the TOS and the posts on this forum before putting ads on the site.

There is no need but if you do not have enough traffic, how can you expect clicks from your website? Maybe you can try the Chinese way - cheating :P

Not a nice statement about the country with the largest population in the world and one of the fastest growing economies. Because of these two factors there might be many cheaters overthere, but cheating is certainly not limited to China.

I travel regularly to Xiamen in the south of China and consider it my second home. The people are so polite, they're proud of their culture and the food so healthy and slimming...plus everything is so darned wonderful and clean.

It's no surprise to me that they're doing so well.

And back to the original thread, i applied for adsense with zero traffic and a basically useless personal website and got admitted. Well, i dumped that site long time ago, :>
