Hey,

OK I am not writing some conspiracy theory about google not paying and stuff like that - I know they are going to pay.

What I am wondering is why so damn long? Some of us depend on this money for investments, etc and for 1 letter to take over a month in the mail... I don't buy it. I have never had a letter from the US take over 2 weeks, yet low and behold google's PIN letter has been over 1 month.

Secondly, who else thinks this PIN system is a little overkill? I mean come on, pretty soon new adsense affiliates are going to have to send in a fingerprint, a blood sample and a signature from the queen.

Anyways, you probably think I am whining and that is partly true, but this system does suck.

My only saving grace will be if AdSense sends out the payment they owe as soon as I enter my PIN.

Guitarzan –

I just posted a similar message on [webmasterworld.com ], but if you have not received your PIN after a month, you should:

1. Log in to your AdSense account at [google.com ]
2. Click the 'My Account' tab
3. Click the 'Payment History' tab
4. Click on the ‘PIN information’ link

This page tells you when your PIN was mailed. If it hasn't arrived 2 weeks after it was mailed, you can request up to two additional PINs. Guitarzan, if you’ve been waiting for a month and have not done so already, you should probably request a new PIN, but first make sure your mailing address information is correct.

Hope that helps,

What does that PIN actually do?

It verifies that the one with the login/password can get access to postal mail on an adress. So what good does that do for Google, what good does that do for the publisher?

Hey,

Thanks for the help.

Does the new PIN change with each mailing? If not I will wait just a bit more in hopes that it comes before this pay period.

All the Best,

Hello,

When google sends the PIN? As soon as i open an account, or when they are about to send my a check?

Hey

Apparently they send it when you have enough to send your first payment or something, although I have yet to see it.

Hey,

The answer was hidden in adsense faq:

"A Personal Identification Number (PIN) is mailed to each AdSense publisher when earnings have reached $50 on their account."

btw: Don't you think that sending checks instead of wiring money directly to bank is sooo 1999? And thats done by company which has it's own moon map. Any GoogleLocal ads there yet? ;)

I requested my first PIN 12 weeks ago and my second 4 weeks ago. I haven't received either. The address is correct. I emailed Google and they told me it could take 4 weeks..That's all...
Like you I've never had a letter from The US to Canada take more then 2 weeks!

Don't worry, you will get the PIN code,

I requested it 3 times, but didn't received it, waited for 40 days but of no sign of PIN. I contacted the google support and they sent me UPS DELIVERY , which arrived in pakistan after 3 days of request.

I've been a publisher with AS for a while. I do not see any link for a PIN. Is this for new publishers?

Hey,

I think it has been standard since January 05'. If you registered before then, you should be fine.

Depending on what country you live in, you may be eligible to receive earnings by Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT).

You can see if your country is among those currently supported by our EFT beta or local currency checks here:

[google.com ]

If EFT or local currency checks are not available for your country, you will be unable to select these payment options. However, please note that we're always working to improve payment options for publishers around the world.

If you’re interested in signing up, you’ll find answers to most of your questions on the AdSense Support page at:

[google.com ]

4. Click on the ‘PIN information’ link

As mentioned on other threads, that 'PIN Information' link just plain doesn't exist for some of us that passed the $50 minimum weeks ago.

We're waiting for an answer from Adsense support.
