I've been using adsense for a month with the usual CTR around 4-5% but just two days ago i noticed it started to jump to 45% and 50%. I got worried and was reading sites about termination of adsense etc and came across this forum.

I've emailed google saying i suspect that someone is trying to over click on my adsense etc. Is this good enough so that they will check my account and fix tthings. Today, the CTR seemed normal though but I've yet to receive any emails from google. How long would they take to respond to an email such as mine and is emailing Google the right thing to do?

or am I going to join the terminated list because of this 2 days in sudden increase activity by some stupid person..

Google historically don't reply to problems that happen on weekends. Wait until tomorrow and you should get a reply.

By reporting your problem to them you should have covered yourself unless they find out that the extra clicks came from you.

It has not been uncommon for first time posters here to have created their own problems however from what you say this doesn't appear to be the case.

Read over this forum - especially those threads that relate to accounts being closed.

Good luck and welcome to WW. You will learn a lot here if you take the time to read up on things.

Good strategy - I find that Google respond well to you emailnig them with such information. At times I've done it and they've found nothing to be unusual - other times they've found problems and have taken action but not against me.

Same thing happened to me but I have internal tracking that doesn't show any extra clicks so it appears my extra clicks are coming from off-site. I emailed G and they reported no problem so what else can one do? If you've alerted G and it isn't you doing the clicking there shouldn't be anything to worry about.
