No payments received in major indian city

How long does in actually takes for payment to reach in punjab

I received my first adsense check for March earnings sent on 24th April on 21st May.

I didnt rcvd cheque for APRIL sent on 26th MAY..

I was reading other topics, and I am amazed to see people receiving checks by ordinary mail in india by 1st - 2nd July.

I dont have any idea what to do about MAY earnings sent on 27th JUNE, as they were also sent via ordinary delivery.

This month I have requested for adjusted APRIL & JUNE earnings to be sent via secure delivery.

Anybody in punjab, India facing such troubles?

Please tell me what should I do....

Dont worry about the payment. It will reach to you soon. I am from chandigarh and recieve payment via simple post and recieving it from 2 years without a single check lost.

Dont subscribe for secure untill you really need it. Chopping off your 25$. Dont do it untill you recieve checks upto 500$

if you receive your money in Indian rupees, you should have to get the check through courier, it will be safe. otherwise anyone can create a new account in any bank with your name and can encash the check.

if it is US $ and upto 300 $, you may get it in ordinary mail, i from Tamilnadu and my brother's checks losted several times through ordinary mode, now he changed to secure delivery. it reached us on 1st JUly.

The postal services in your area must be bad. Check with the post office if they have any problem like no staff to deliver . I earn more than the amounts mentioned here, but get it by post. No use spending more than Rs 1000 to get a check just a day earlier (and i deposit it only after 2-3 days)

hmmm you will get your cheque.. Im from mumbai and i get my chegue through ordinary post only coz here the service is good for me.. And now postman also knows me well so he delivers the cheque in my hand hahaha so a courier service through ordinary post ;)

I am in Delhi and subscribed for Secured Express delivery but still waiting for my check.

I can't imagine check sent by DHL can be lost?but who know exact...

if someone in google reading this ,please give tracking number to people who subscribed for secured express option.Atleast you can do this for people who are paying you 25$ extra...

Taran, can u tell me how many days it takes you in chandigarh to receive the check? As I have a friend in chandigarh, i can get my check on his address and tell him to deposit it into my bank account.

I have changed back to standard delivery from secure delivery, as even I think its stupid to spend 1200 extra bucks, i can wait some time.

Well another problem with me is that I dont feel that the problem is with post office. As I receive all other local or international mails at time. I get mails from US, UAE. All are delivered on time, but oly these google checks have the problems....

Here is what happened to my check...

It departed from Dublin on 28th June.It arrived in Delhi on 30th June.(pretty fast ,not so?)
Then DHL india guys sit over it for 8 days without coming to my residence to deliver it (I live in a well known place in Delhi).They even did't bother to call me on telephone number given in address.

I email google and they replied after 2 days with a tracking number.I call DHL with this tracking number and courier was delived to me in next 12 hours.

so i guess I have call them each time now onwards.
