Hi guys,

I've been working pretty much 18 hours a day, and in a few weeks of content building, getting natural links (A new site or forum links me every week or two, which is excellent) and doing link exchanges with relevant useful sites, i've watched my adsense go from $1.25 a day to $20-$30 / day, sometimes slips over, sometimes slips under.

$700 a month is impressive to me, I thought this would be 6 months down the line.

I am happy, it proves sites that are just useful, use only white hat tactics can bring me some money in. Now, to $1000 a month :)

Now, to keep building content and links and sites, never going to stay still :)

I'd like to thank everyone on webmasterworld, in the adsense forums, the search engine forums, the css forums, and of course, Foo! (Who helped me get over my girlfriend last year with lot's of helpful advice, and take up a musical instrument, it all helps!)

No program. I emailed the most relevant and useful sites, they looked at my site, and we did exchanges manually.

Definately not good for your health! I did the same thing that you are doing now and my ankles started swelling up badly. Long hours at the keyboard can do worse than that also.

I solved the problem by taking breaks and walking around to get the circulation going. The good news is...your hard work WILL payoff big!

phidentity how long did it take you to reach at this stage? 18 hrs,....thats crazy, i usually have to force my self to sit down 3 hrs just to write 1 article and that too takes a good 2 days, have to revelant research. Thanks for the motivation though.

I've had my sites for ages... but started to work on them moreso in the last 2 months, and intensivly in the last 4.

I will calm down a bit now, but still do a few large days once or twice a week. It'll slow things down, but I don't want to burn out!

Respect your perseverance. Burning out early is a worry, but my philosophy is work hard now, and play hard later :) Great sites are rarely built on one or two hours graft a day, unless you're part of a team.

Once you build up a certain ammount of traffic, and the site is of use to visitors it starts to build up momentum on it's own. Thats when I take a break. I put the site into cruise control, and take a trip somewhere nice and enjoy the fruits of my labour.

Congratulations. This is the type of motivation I needed for my website as well. I sell services and niche products and I have been slacking for a long time. Recently started here to motivate myself to get it move faster.....it seems like things have finally started moving for me as well.

phidentity, This is damn motivating for a starter like me. I am on the second month of the Adsence in my old site and onto 3-4$/day by just adding the code to my outdated website. I was just wondering if the full time efforts would make me reach the first target of 30$/day or not. But after reading your post I am going to dedicate my 100% of work time in this. Now I have set a target to reach the 30$/day mark 5 months. Lets see if I can make it or not and how fast.

I am now worried my earnings will drop due to smart pricing or some other event... only way to stop it is to keep working, diversify, and work some more...

I look at it like a current, always trying to take your money down, only way to stop it is to forcefully swim against it with all your idea's and hard work.

Have your eggs in so many baskets, even if sods law follows you around like it does me, it can never beat you :)
