Payment made but not in bank account yet!

Hi,

I checked our account and it says:

Payment Type- EFT
Payment Date- Jun 28, 2005

Checked our bank account and it does not show any credit yet...!

Do we have to wait for one day before amt. shows up in the bank as EFT?

Anyone with same experience?

This sounds really fishy to me. If it was sent on the 28th, it would have been in our checking accounts on the 28th... not the 29th, 30th, etc.

Either they are lieing and it wasn't sent on the 28th, or they "messed up" and they aren't going to send the payment until next month.

I hope that's not the case though.

I don't think "payment in progress" should be taken too literally. It means simply that they're cranking up the process by which these payments are made. Cranking it up... getting it in gear. Trying to pinpoint it to the precise minute is, at least to me, an exercise in futility.

Also, if you're looking online at your bank account it may not be updated yet. Try calling them on the phone and inquiring as to account balance and you might be surprised...

I have the EXACT same thing today. So it must be taking a little longer for them to actually wire-out the money..

Google's stock is ONLY at $301.96 per-share, so maybe they need a little extra time to come up with the cash! LOL

Payment In Progress is one thing, but Payment date and number is another. I called my bank again this morning and they show no electronic deposit for the 28th or today the 29th.

I remember a delay like this last month too. It just takes a while for those electrons to travel from Google's bank to your bank--remember that they don't go straight to you from Google.

I see the exact same thing as you all do. If the money isn't in my bank account by Thursday morning, THEN I will start to get worried.

I was surprised by the same thing. 3rd EFT. 1st time I got a payment number but nothing in the bank yet.

It does appear that Google AdWords has made an electronic Withdrwal (pending ATM activity in the usual amount), however. In previous months, this was made on the day AFTER the AdSense EFT deposit.

Everything has been completed in my account, Payment Type, Payment Date, Payment Number, Payment Amount but when i checked my bank, the money is not there yet. What is Google doing this?

This is the reason why people use EFT to make it faster especially in the US.

Wait until 30th and then go and check you account balance.
Be patient.

Well, AdSense only has to *send* the money by the 30th of the month.

EFT is far from instantaneous. So even if AdSense *sends* it on the 30th, it could still be a few business days before it shows up in your bank account.

I have had the same problem today. They said payment was made but it is not in my bank account. I have been waiting 2 months and it is always something. I am beginning to wonder if I will ever see it.

Some banks take a few business days to show up on your account balance.

Expect your money up to 10 days after the payment date. If you don't get it by the 5th contact google and they will look into it. That is what they just told me.

Your welcome Stacey. Of course I was speaking generically. I have the same thing happening with my account so I contacted G this morning and received their reply this afternoon. I am sure that their reply goes for everyone. Actually I think this policy is stated somewhere in the TOS.

Probably just a normal delay and nothing to worry about. I am going back to work have a great week.

None of you ever made EFT transfers?

The bank usually holds the money for at least a day before it's added to the account balance on the recipient. For foreign banks, that time is even longer.

Bill might not be stressing, but I am. I sure hope it shows up after my bank does their nightly processing about 2 or more hours from now.
