Wondering what the biggest totals of clicks you guys ever got in a day was?

My all-time best is 955.
Followed by 873, 854, 631, and 536.

I'm on a larger content site, and my ppc is low, but I'll take what I can get.

My best is 6,450 clickthroughs in one day. 2nd best is right around 5,000.

I started putting AdSense onto my pages a month and a half ago, and I'm lucky to get 10 a day.
Haven't even broken 40 bucks yet.

I find it interesting that your site has Forums that are not used on a regular basis, yet you still get many clicks.
My site is integrated with Blogs and Forums, and I was counting on the live interaction of regular visitors to get more out of this.

You just showed me that it's more about hard content and information than interaction.

Or his impressions are really high. (Or, for that matter, both.)

150,000 impressions a day (say avg. 5 page views and 30k uniques) at 3% CTR would do the trick.

Quite achievable with the right high profile site and good ad placement.

Certain industries also produce better CTR than others. Many AdSense publishers I know have CTR's of around 8-10% (people looking specifically to buy).
