I am so shocked. I couldnt believe what i saw for the last three days. It looks like i was being robbed by Google and they doesnt give a #*$! on us as publishers.

I believe this targetted CPM is the caused of the collosal collapsed. I am now losing money from advertising.

How's your income for the last 4 days?

dropping also. earnings dropping. also notice that ctr is dropping.

Sigh. Is this all because of one cpm thingy?

EPC down sharply across our network of sites starting on Thursday last week.

couple things may be causing this,

schools out across most of the US starting Wednesday last week

summer time drop happens every year about the same week for us

end of the month, low dollars left to spend on adverts

My apology guys, I cannot confirm this. Today it looks like we could finally break the $80 barrier (earnings per day).

Last week or two been not good for me, drop started around June 17. Not sure when the start of US school holidays is - around the same I'm guessing. My money site has a fair % of US school kids, so I guess reduced net access for them could mean reduced $ for me. Down around 25% or so.

Only one day dropped this month. Everything looks steady. No changes, maybe a bit on the positive side.

Here's my chance to really get some folks upset as I have been when reading these:

Perhaps Adsense isn't right for you? Maybe you want to look at another alternative.

You should diversify. To many eggs in one industry.

Write more content. More content = more visitors.

Perhaps you aren't offering the right info on your site?

EPC goes up and it goes down - don't fret over a few days worth of stats - you have to wait at least a month or two to determine a trend.

(sorry folks I just had to say them. did I miss any?)

How's your income for the last 4 days?

It's been fine, with EPC and eCPM above the average for the month.

Don't let short-term peaks and valleys make you giddy or panicky. Long-term trends are what count.

Everything is up for me including traffic, eCPM, CTR, earnings. This is my best month ever and even today is looking dandy.

As a person who has a sinking CPM for the last month, things skyrocketed today.

One month I am in love with Google, the next I am disappointed, and now, just confused :)

I agree completely Sailor. My new adsense site will most likely have completely different traffic patterns & audience from my current main site. The two in planning after that are both quite different again. I expect fluctuations of +/- 30 - 40% from month to month to be business as usual (maybe that's conservative, just based on my current experience). However, a dip of 70% like the original poster would have me raising my eyebrows.

I have dropped from $150 a day to $30 a day, and my traffice and number of clicks has gone UP.

Something VERY wrong here. :(

Markbaa,

The list of items was a bit of a joke. Whenever someone complains about decrease in income some person always spouts out at least one of those rhetorical bloviations. (no offense meant EFV :)

After having my adwords ads on hold since 3pm friday they finally got activated at midnight G time.

Today's EPC / revenue is likely to be in the top 20 days.

Yesterday was the best day in our AdSense history. $96 per day with just average traffic. Our previous maximum was $70 per day. I believe it all depends on the quality (relevancy, CPC, etc.) of ads and how much the advertisers bid.

I am having revenue dropping. I guess the main reason is because of the end of the month. Advertisers are running out of fund.

Eagerly waiting for a new month to arrive. BTW, i made an increase of 150% in this months revenue. Biggest check i expect to receive next month.

If this trend goes on, i will consider quitting my school and maybe full time webmastering. After all, i am a totally geek with what they called "no life".

One thing i believe in the world = $$$. guess what, i will be having a car soon with my own money. Yes. first time buying stuff with my own money instead of parents.

Forgive me for my childishness. Too happy to share with other.

Do not quit school if you know whats good for you. The great thing about webmastering is that you can do it anytime you want and can make an easy 10 G's a month while doing other things like going to school.

There will be many .com crashes to come. Just enjoy this while it lasts, but don't become dependant on it.

I see different behavior across our various themed sites. For example automotive site CPC is slightly above avg for the month. Travel sites’ CPC is a bit down.

No drop down for me at the moment but I've seen it before. Just wait and see. It's normal.

Looks about right...but you might want to be careful. So much common sense like that can overload some of the fragile minds that visit here...
