Hi, I used to have a very high CPC months ago but it was down to 25% (and less) for the last 3 months. On one hand I want high ctr to get more clicks. on the other, I want high CPC so I have to have a lower CTR that converts well. So, after promoting, blending, moving, removing and replacing my google ads - is there a black or White answer, what CTR do we want for maximizing the revenue?

I'm happy if I can maintain between a 5.0 and a 6.5 CTR (which is usually not the case)
The more the traffic increases, the CTR gets offset again, and I have to do more ad adjusting.
To my knowledge, we don't have any control over CPC

This kind of CTR took my CPC lower, so I forced it(the CTR) to be lower. Now it's very low...
It's like losing control when driving a car - left! no, no right... left!right! no no left qick!
I guess you've gut the picture..
Oh.. I want my CPC back!

There are way to many factors involved in what you're asking. If we knew the answer to this... the forum would have a flock of happy webmasters.
I measure what is happening on my site by CTR > CPM
Did you replace all your ads sitewide? This could be a cause, or the advertisers have smartened up with their bids, or dropped out of "content."
