Payments were just approved, I don't know what woot means, but everyone seems to place this in the metadescription for such a declaration... cheers....

When I make electronic payments FROM my bank account, the payment is acknowledged right away by the company I'm paying, but it can be two or three days before my bank account reports the debit.

I assume that there's a similar delay with the Google system.

Google is really pushing to the last day on this one. Could this signal they desperately need every cent they can get from interest because they aren't doing as well this quarter.

I highly doubt it. That theory has been brought up before and it doesn't seem to hold much water.

In the 2 years since Adsense has been around, they have paid at varying times in their stated 30 day terms. Sometimes early, sometimes closer to 30 days.

It's no big deal.

If the UK checks are posted from Ireland this would explain the UK getting it's checks earlier, supposedly the Uk average for receiving first class mails is next day or the day after (not always true I hear you cry). I beleive that this is much quicker than in the US. Also why do people think that America should get preferential treatment in termss of payment? I thought we were ALL working equally hard on making money from adsense I can see no justification for one counrty being payed before another, surely G should pay us all on the same day?

ok i made more than the needed $100 in May
but my payments are still show earnings...
one thing though i still have'nt received my pin
could it be google will not validate clicks for any account until the pin has been entered?

but i though u were removed from adsense the min
bad clicks show up?
any ideas?

Google is not a bank and you cant compare both.

I spoke with a Wells Fargo banker and was told that any company makes an EFT deposit, it will post to the account immediately, although some banks would post it on next business day but not later than 24 hours.

From my experience, any EFT deposit should be cleared within 24 hours unless you live in a third world country in which foreign banks have different policies.

I bet Google has been flooded with questions asking why the EFT payment is taking too long.

Google should be aware that we take this matter seriously and we dont want to be paid last especially if you live in the US and you are using EFT.

This one sucks.

I am not sure which countries are considered as Third World,But I guess if you are referring to Asia such as India,Nepal and Indonesia Wire transfer to these countries got cleared in few hours from UK banks.
(exceptions are only Bank Holidays)

Heh! A lot of people claim that these threads serve no purpose. I was reading this and promptly went over to check my Adsense account. Noted that "Payment in progress" had changed to "Payment...", so I thought that's something to look forward to maybe when I get home or tomorrow morning.

THEN I remembered the letter I'd stuffed into my pocket when rushing out yesterday morning.

I wonder how the (what seems to be obvious) paying internationals first worked out for them.

A change to see people from other countries having the funds in their account before US accounts. I wonder if the processing center is still in the US?

I m Belgium and google send the EFT money via Citibank Belgium.

UK EFT still 'payment in progress' has been since 27th, it's now the first has google employed the same people that run paypal, one assumes that this is their idea of a joke, this is making a check look quick!
