Is my site worth putting my time into Adsense?

Okay so i recently made a site about my friends metal band just for fun. When i showed it to them they liked it alot, though its not that good yet, so i kept making more pages and adding content. Is it worth putting up Google Adsense ads or any other affiliate program? I'm not selling anything on the site and its not getting that many hits cuz there isn't that much content yet. In the future, there will be pictures of the band members and hopefully music from them. Here is the site...

As you can see, at first i was getting alot of page loads cuz i was constantly editing the site and refreshing. And i was getting better unique visits at first cuz i was telling friends and people on AIM to see the site. But recently i haven't been home to advertise so the visits have gone down to nothing. I have submitting the site into free search engines but recently so they are prolly still being processed. So is it worth it to put my time into Adsense or any other affiliate program? If so wat program and wat can i do to get more money.

With only an average of 15 unique visitors per day, you're going to have a hard time making decent money with any type advertising program.

Honestly, no. You'll need more than 14 unique hits to make anything worth your time...

But why ask the question? Putting them on a finding out for yourself is always better.

well i did do Adsense and in about a week i made $35. but they said i had "invalid clicks" and made my account not active. i've emailed them twice yesterday and they haven't emailed me back. i've clicked on my ads only a few times, the first day to see if they worked and one day cuz i actually was interested about wat the ad was. i guess $35 isn't alot but it would be $1820 after a year if it was constant which i think is pretty good for a site that doesn't sell anything. Hopefully i can get my accoutn back. Will they find out if i made a new accoutn with a new name, email, and a different link to the same site and the same address?

You need to read the terms of service,
first you are not allowed to click your own ads, not even once.

second either get a new account or explain how you screwed up because you didnt understand.

Now lets say you have one site that makes $35 a week, and everything is cool (you aren't clicking your own ads etc)

now go make 100 more web sites.

Now you are making $3500 a week.

Thats how that works

okay they emailed me saying how they can't explain their algorhithm process and other bull#*$!. so i emailed them back asking if the so called "invalid clicks" are coming from my ip address or another. and i told them the instances where i cliked on them. hopefully i can get my account back up...

how do they know im signing up again, from ip address? cuz i could use a different name, use my cousins address, make a new site to put the ads on, and have a new email and stuff.

if u get new account on new name, and new site..no one can trace you

but when they disabled your account..they have maybe disabled your site also..and put it on black list..

so no adsense ads will be ever shown on that site

I've been using google adsense for almost a year yet I haven't received a check because I was only able to reach the $100 last month. Still, the spirit is up (thanks to this website) and good enough, I'll buy a coffee and a pack of cigarrete with that google money. the change, i'll pay for another year for hosting because im learning everyday through this site. :D

arian, you probably did yourself a favor by getting banned from Adsense. While it is the biggest ad network out there, it is also arguably the worst. Earnings fluctuate wildly and the income is not something you can depend on. Find another source is my advice.

heh, okay thx. im looking from some other affiliate programs, maybe ones you have to sign up for so i can just tell all my friends and people on aim to sign up once and hopefully get some money to give to the band to help them out. then i prolly ownt get anymore sign ups so i would just stop.

I finally making money on my site and i noticed i had 2 clicks worth .23 each and another click that was worth .04 heh

Here's a guy with 14 visitors to a website (friends and family) who clocks up $35 by clicking his own ads. And surprise surprise gets banned.

If this thread didn't make me laugh so much (and laugh out "allowed" too) I wouldn't be posting this. I suggest others with websites to develop spend their time more wisely than in encouraging this guy.

You'd be surprised how many webmasters don't read the TOS and do this, even though it's prohibited. Quite a few threads here in the past on this.
