UPS club is adsense publishers who earn at least 100k
I believe it's 10+k per-month... but don't quote me :)
Just connect with your visitors and find out what they are looking for... then provide it... The rest is just a waiting game.
does anybody know what it takes to get into the over-the-limit club?Probably a lot of hard work.

At least one person has stated publicly that he's found something in the thread that will itself pay for the New Orleans trip. I've had several stickies from others who believe the thread will make them a lot of money.
But that is just one thread in SF. I've learnt plenty from the gems posted by some of the all time great WW members.

first post....i joined just to see that thread. not really worth it, but this forum is cool, have been putting off on signing up, so not sorry at all. have not had time to see other supporters posts, but sure interesting.
the thread is all generic info, i.e. work hard, get traffic, yadda, yadda, yadda....
this forum is good for inspiration, tech advice, tech happenings, etc, not too good on specifics. but then is anyone going to hand you a $10k a month site idea/business? not unless you are their son, etc.

I was on the same wave length as spacie. 1 of our sites was predicted to hit UPS club $ LAST MONTH and almost had it, before bourbon...(a "homemaker" type niche as Spacie) As many, we were in the, "Never been touched by an update & remained #1 for years" Club.
Thankfully for Spacey, she was on the benefit side of this update!
Not to burst any bubbles because without goals you go no where, but please take some advice.
-Profits from adsense are like gambling. Take the money you get, use it wisely while you have it, but don't stake your future continued residual income. After reading this somewhere on WW I'm still in good shape after taking my first update beating.
-Don't put all your eggs in one basket
-One thing that helped us was to find the average cost per click for our keywords and determined how many we would need. Took the ratio of page impressions and increased our traffic to match it. Even though the bourbon update put us back down a bit, we still know how much we need to make the UPS club happen!

1. Found other sites that focused on our niche, placed text ads on their sites. (Not for search engine linking mind you, but for the purpose of having their traffic directed our way).
2. Sent out news worthy press releases.
3. Submitted free content for distribution.
4. Formed quality partnerships with sites having greater traffic by filling a need their site was lacking.
