I just recently set up channels on my adwords to see what's paying and what's not. On one of my channels it showed only 1 click, but said I made $12.93. Do people really bid that high? Or is there glitches with these channels? Also, I am showing sometimes on my channels 0 clicks, but still some amount of money in the "your earnings" section. Just confused. Any thoughts?

$12.93 is rare but does happen.
I would do a lot to find out what that keyword is.

I sure will be trying. I wasn't complaining, just very surprised.

There was a time when the M-word got $100+ per click.

I almost wonder if something is broken or whacky today with Adsense. I have one little site/channel that shows 5 clicks for the day and almost 50 dollars in earnings. I'm certainly not complaining, but it seems unlikely for the sector (I sometimes see dollar clicks, but that's about it). My other sites seem normal. Anyone else seeing any similar anomalies?

its occurred to me that since they made the channel reporting real-time that sometimes the lag between updating impressions v clicks is large and happens more often. Quite often early in the day many of my channels are over 100% CTR and then even out during the day.
Sometimes these figures are spurious and due to delays in reporting - but I'm also sure that I have seen $20 + clicks on 2 occasions (in 18 months on low traffic pages).

Tresmom5,
Great site. Try putting the Adsense banner on the forums at the top of the page instead of the bottom, you may get a better CTR.

endomorph1, I've thought about that, but I really like our other ad agencies too. I get the best of both worlds this way. I may put them up top though where our text links are. Have to think on that.

At one stage when I only made a dollar or so a day one day I got $15. Still a low number of clicks. I assumed that maybe I accidentally got a high paying click (or that someone made a bidding mistake).

tresmom5, I want my money back! :)
I experimented a bit with AdWords budget on one campaign. Needless to say I wasn't impressed with the spend and turned their budget buster off.
