Survey websites.

Would love to see survey websites banned from adwords or content adsense.

Tired of seeing dodgy survey ads. They may not be dodgy but they certainly lower the quality of adsense imho. I hope G extends its ban to survey websites in the future, or maybe insist that they are on cpm only.

what do you find so low quality about survey sites?

They seem like a normal advertiser to me.

There have been a few TV stories here in New Zealand about getting people signing up for these things, even paying a fee, completing surveys galore, not getting paid.

I see some on our sites, however when I use the AdSense preview tool and look from other ountries, the survey ads do not show, so overseas people are being delivered better ads.

There are some good ones out there, I just got paid $100 for taking a survey from Survey Savvy.

$100...I took a survey about 30 minutes long a week ago for $5 that still hasn't come. I signed up for survey savvy but haven't gotten anything yet.

Yeah, that $100 one was 1 out of 50 that Survey Savvy has sent me. Also, it was directly targeted to me in my industry. Most surveys that are sent from S.S. either I don't qualify for, or they are worth about $20 each. The good thing about Savvy is you can reccomend people to it and you get a cut from their earnings as well.

Survey ads seem to have disappeared from our sites, seeing better/quality ads now. Great!

My wife signed up for a bunch of survey companies. Hasn't seen any money yet although many of them claimed they would pay. My biggest suspicion with them has been one in particular that promises good pay for each survey they send, has her fill out the survey for about 30 minutes and when she hits Submit returns a message, "I'm sorry, but you do not submit the profile we are seeking and are not eligible for payment." Meanwhile, they've gathered all her responses before telling her that.
