Hey all,

just some simple questions:

- What if I get 5 dollars in may, 6 in july, 4 in august. Will I get paid (i want to use EFT) or do I have to wait till I get 100 dollars till they pay me?

- Translation of question above: do they pay you amounts under 100 dollars?

- If I sign up today, when is the first date I will be paid (lets say I make 10 bucks a day)? I read something about 15th of the month?

Thanks for your help.

In the US, I'm expecting my check for April soon, about a week or so.

Yes, you have to make $100.00 before you get paid.

ah I see but Im not in the US maybe that makes a difference on high much you must earn before you get paid?

Also can I get my 100 dollars from ads on different websites on the web or should it be one website?(Once I've got the code I think I can just copy it right)

You can put the code on all of your websites, as long as they conform to TOS.

Outside US, you still have to make $100 to get paid. It'll probably also take longer to get your checks, not sure how long, I just pay attn to when I get mine, here in USA.

Hi

Guess I can help a little here since I'm out of US.

Firstly, once you have your "primary website" approved for Adsense, basically you can copy the codes provided on all websites that you operate (assuming of course that they comply with the TOS).

Secondly, TOS refers to "Terms of Service" (I stand corrected). Basically, it is a set of terms specifying what you can do and what you cannot do. You may want to check here: [google.com...]

Thirdly, irregardless of whether you are in or out of US, you will need to accumulate $100 before getting a first check from Google. Actually, this does make sense as you will probably face a bank charge for cashing a foreign check anyway.

Fourthly, as for the payment, I normally see the check number appearing in my Google Account somewhere around the 20th of the following month. As I am in Asia, I normally receive the check near the end of the following month. Ok... I'm not so good at word here.. but here's the approximately time line:

31st Mar: Total Earnings posted in the Account

Around 20th April: cheque number appears in the Account, assuming you have a cumulative total of more than $100.

28th - 30th April: Check arrives in Singapore and immediately banked in.

30th May: Funds arrive in bank account.

The time line above is my experience before Google starts paying in local currencies. It normally take 60 days before I see the money in my bank account. Since Google starts paying in local currencies, the amount of days is being halved. So, instead of 30th May, I am getting the funds at about 30th April.

Hope this helps.

Thank you very much, it helped.

I think I understand now, however I doubt whether it'll be worth it for me I get approximately 7 unique visitors a day and approx 5 first time visitors. It could take a long while till I get my 100 buck I guess, or you guys think it'll go quite fast?

What happens when I quit my account before 100 bucks?

Thanks

If it's a new site, you have a long way to go. But, don't give up just yet.

If you've had the site for a while and are still only getting 5 uniques a day, might as well give up. People evidently aren't interested in the site. Try a different niche, give your site an over-haul, something.

Make a site that interests you, chances are, it will interest others as well.

well it isn't a site to attract many visitors. It's just a site for my gaming clan, though we're well known and have a .com address etcetera. So keeping in mind it is such a site, will I ever reach my 100 dollars? In one year or less? (more....?)

That type of site doesn't normally do well with Adsense. If it's just the same visitors, you'll probably get accused of "invalid clicks".

A gaming site, though, can do well. You gotta bring in new visitors from search engines, etc. though.

I bought the game RCT2, got addicted and made a site the month my addiction started, and ended(got boring)... search Google for RCT2 scenarios, RCT2 tracks... you'll get to my site.

Dang, didn't realize I was actually #1 under those keywords, better move the site to a location where I can run Adsense on it.

Ok so what you guys say:

Try it? Or not (if its really useless, it might take 2 years...)?

Make it useful. A useless site won't get you anywhere. Some of us make $100 before we wake up in the morning.

well I cant just make it usefull as it is just a clan info site, though I have a lot of links on other sites.
But in this state you think itll work?

"though I have a lot of links on other sites"

Do you have a directory of outgoing links as well? Why can't you put tips/hints about your game on the site? Unless you make the site useful, you might as well give up, you may never see $100.

With 7 unique visitors you'll be lucky if you even get 1 click per day.

Work on increasing traffic and then perhaps you could try it out, but for now I don't think it's worth your trouble.
