Google re-indexing causes Adsense CPM to skyrocket

Is Adsense using SE rank to determine smart-pricing?

I find it awfully coincidental today that as everyone is talking about the latest bourbon re-indexing, and our key pages have jumped up a few notches in the new indexing IPs, that our traffic remained fairly constant but CPM shot up 33-50% from the last week's average. Anyone else noticing correlation between their G SE ranking for key terms and the change in PPC/CPM on a page?

Keeping it all in the family? I meant. I'm typing faster than my brain works, sorry.

That would be the death knell of Google as a first class search engine. There should be a barrier between search engine results and publishing adsense. The two should be unrelated (or atleast adsense shouldn't weigh more or less than other ads).

I'm not saying that they are doing this, just that it seems a little suspicious.
