I have had my account disabled for reasons I don't believe are just. Nevertheless I removed the pages in question and have sent an email notifying Google. I didn't receive their complaints until it was too late because of email issues. Anyone have experience with this? How long does it take nowadays to get the account working again?

Did they specifically say they would re-enabe your account after you fixed the issues?

If so, it may take a few days for them to review your changes.

If not, they may leave your account disabled.

Within 24 hours would be my guess. We recieved an email about pages they didn't like about six months ago. I spent all weekend removing their code from those pages and sent a reply to them about their removal. Received a nice message the same day thanking me for the response and never heard back from them again.

Of pure interest what kind of pages were those?

They said they would review the account after I made changes. I'm hoping this means that I still have a chance to get the account working again.

Just a follow up: I responded to Google with a plea to enable the account after I corrected the "problem" about 9:00 their time. I just now received an email back from them stating that they have enabled the account currently 12:00 their time. This is incredible; they really have stepped up their service. Thank you for the advice.

Not to long ago there was a thread by someone who got kicked out of AdSense and got back in - [webmasterworld.com...]

Don't confuse people, jchampliaud, he is not talking about being kicked out of adsense, it is very different. Sometimes Google reviews your site and if they see something they don't like they send you an email asking you to fix it. I had some images in my site that were a bit mature, Google asked me to remove the code from those pages. I did, and haven't had any more problems since then.

They said the pages didn't have enough content for their bot to figure out what they were all about. I never saw an ad on those pages that wasn't well targeted, but I didn't want to risk getting kicked out all together, so I just went along with their suggestion. The removal of those pages cost us $3000 per month, but at least we didn't lose our adsense account.
