I need traffic

I recently registered my website with google adsense.

Can anyone help me in providing me the information that how can I get a good traffic to my website. What are the best possible ways of getting traffic.

Any help in this matter will be highly appreciated.

Try looking in the other forums at this site. You can use PPC, SEO or a number of methods. But, you'll have to read and learn and implement. Getting traffic takes knowledge and effort - but you can gain the knowledge to make the effort here at this site.

One bit of advice a bookkeeper once gave me:
Be wary of anyone who contacts you first with a proposal pitch (as opposed to someone you discover and contact yourself). Look with a highly jaundiced eye at anyone who promises you traffic. Always research the company exhaustively before you jump in (WebmasterWorld's a great place to start) and jump in rarely, only with great caution.

There's a lot of junk exposure out there, never seen by a human eye, where the clicks are generated by robots. There are so many scams you could write a thick book about them all... Anybody offering you a 'guaranteed' search engine ranking should especially set off your alarms.

(oopps. ..I just re-read your post. Looks like you're on the AdSense side of things, not the AdWords side. But Anyway, the rest still applies)
Anyway-
Have a look at the Google AdWords and Yahoo/Overture pay-per-click programs. Those are the industry stalwarts for PPC, with the best reach and decent reputations. Then read, read, read about organic search engine optimization. Start with the archives. Keep it clean, try to avoid spammy tricks, which will eventually only turn around to bite you in the arse, and if you optimize well you'll rise in the ranks.

Read up on SEO, trade links with other sites (for traffic and to help with rankings), do PPC if you like.

Did you write them yourself? There are tons of them available on the web.

When you really want to make something out of adsense I suggest you start a site really worth looking at. Not just one made for adsense.

Theres no magic bullet, quality traffic can take years to build, submit to directories, do link exchanges, forum and guest book postings, its very labor intensive. I have had some sucess with pc based website submission programs.

The best way to generate traffic, is to make sure that your website (and subpages) all get indexed, and are optimized for seo before submission.

If your site offers genuine content, that are sought after, you will receive traffic from the search engines.
