I've tried doing two 760x80 leaderboards (one on top and another at the bottom) in one page, but I can never seem to make that work.

This is the second site I've tried it on, and if I remove the top banner, the bottom one will show up, and vice versa. Before I just said 'screw it, too many ads anyway', but I'd really would like to put two adsense blocks on this new site.

What am I doing wrong?

Your doing nothing wrong, either mediabot has not spidered the new page or there are not enough ads to fill two blocks of ads at that time the page was viewed

use the google_adsense_script.html to collapse the bottom ad to remove the white space and over a few days you will see the ad block appear at the bottom of the page full of ads.

I tried this on my site yesterday. My experience was:

1. Although two ads on the same page did not work when I tested on my local webserver, it did work when I published the site to my ISP.

2. It did, however, not work at all when I put two ads *directly* after one another. This is very bizarre, but it appeared that I had to put in about 20 characters of HTML between the blocks, otherwise only the first ad block would show.

I have also often seen a delay in a second ad unit appearing with ads - sometimes by a day or two. I have seen multiple ad units appearing right after each other, so I believe it was just the time delay that sometimes affects pages when multiple ad units are first added.

And I have seen instances where 2nd and 3rd ad units fail to show, even days and weeks after setting them up.

These are on keyword- and content-rich pages, where the Adsense Preview Tool shows plenty of available ads. (Maybe there are one or more "offensive" keywords activating the ad blocker?)

The only way I can reliably get a 2nd ad unit to show is by using AdLinks.

I've seen this happen on my most heavilly hit page all the time. I did find that an AdLink would display however if this is of any help...
