Firefox Garbles AdSense Login Page

Is it just me?

When I use Firefox to login to my Adsense account, the screenshot on the right obscures the login form. After I click the page (or any of the input fields, I'm not sure anymore), it repairs itself. It's been like this for weeks. Do you see the same?

It's not the biggest thing, but kind of amusing ... regarding the FireBot-GoogleFox love, I mean.

I see this on Firefox too.
My version is: Gecko/20041107 Firefox/1.0
Only happened recently though. I think it happened when I tweaked the parameter settings in that other Firefox "speed-up" thread (which worked, but this came as a side-effect).

I'm not using the speed-up thing, but I get the screwed up screen about every 3 times I logon (Firefox 1.0).

Firefox works at adwords for me.

But I only use it when checking ad spend.

If making landing page changes I have to use IE cuz the blinking cursor will jump to end of the long urls in IE (in the entry form) and you must erase much of the url in Firefox.

Hope I said that where you could understand it.

Anyways, no trouble with login.

I notice some drop down menus at another ad network are not viewable in Firefox. Never have been for me.

Yep, it does the same for me. It pushes the dotted line separator over the middle of the form (sometimes, not always, and to varying degrees). When I click submit it fixes before taking me to the reports page.

This is probably bugzilla #217527, a bug in the Gecko table rendering code which is triggered by incremental page rendering. It is influenced by the connection speed and the delay until Firefox initially starts rendering when the page has not finished loading. That's why some people see it and some don't. A fix is in the current Mozilla alpha and will be in Firefox 1.1.

For your convenience:

Bug 217527 - {inc}left column on slashdot is sometimes too narrow or too wide for its content [bugzilla.mozilla.org]:

for those with FF 1.0: try this extension for a workaround
