Seems the ad inventory really ran out at the end of the month there. On top of that, it was the end of the work/school week AND the end of the month.

The Perfect Storm.

@fearlessrick,

Great to hear, everything still at rock bottom for me.

I hope things keep improving for you.

Things are slightly ticking up here. Seeing some modest gains with OfferWall after customizing the popup text a bit more.

Well, since Wednesday, I've lost 40% of my visitors, so it is a great 2025.

@Mentat,

Sorry to hear that, I have lost half of my traffic, and a very low RPM is just adding to an already awful February.

Yes same. I think better will be in April...

I don't understand why Google's ad revenue continues to increase while publisher earnings decrease. How is that possible?

I think it's better to explore other ways to earn money without relying on AdSense. What do you think? Is offering a personal paid membership a better option than AdSense? Does anyone suggest a membership plugin for the Wordpress site?

@payalsharma

It’s simple math and market share. How do you make more money? Probably by having more customers or clients. The same with Google. The more advertisers they have, the more money they make. At the same time, a website’s market share may be declining as more websites enter the game.

@Sissi,

It seems that way for me as well, but I wasn't sure if it was just me.

I've been seeing a high RPM for six days now. But that doesn't mean much when the traffic is so low.

February is going to be a record breaker for me, I even surpassed last November and that with only 28 days. But unfortunately, things have cool down a bit over the past few days, I doubt the trend will continue. But I'll take whatever I can get.

There is some good news from AdSense, in terms of earnings, They have lifted their ban on online gambling. Judging by the Superbowl ads this year, and also basically any NFL game all seasons, those sports betting company's seem to have bottomless budget's to spend on ads. This is really good news if you have a pro-sports based website. Even for those of us that don't I suspect that the increased demand will push prices up for all advertising (we can always hope!). We should expect Google ad revenue to now grow even more...
