Waiting for the next month and thinking that a magic touch will change everything is an immense illusion.

@Sissi is absolutely right. It's hard work every day. From Sunday to Sunday.

Google/AdSense is a partner, not a parent. If publishers don't strive to create excellent content, there is no miracle that will save them.

I used Ezoic a few years back. Lots of promises and hope but in the end it wasn't worth it. I would not recommend them at this point. Try Auto Ads from Google instead.

@not2easy

There are not variations for Google, only for Adsense. Everything has been set with 301 through .htaccess and all request to the website without www. are redirected to www. but....

@allhearts did it same but Adsense started some time a go to show statistics for both: www. and without www. and it is very strange. I thought that it is related to offerwall but after @allhearts told that he does not use offerwall and still have one or 2 page views then i'm not sure anymore.

I use offerwall and i have much more revenue from non www. but still 1/3 less than with www. if i compare numbers of the pageviews with revenue.

For example www. with 15k pageviews make $85 and non www with just 500 page views make $30. Very strange. For me it still smell like the offerwall but not sure 100%

RPM started to go up a bit the last few days, hope I didn't speak to soon, but just wanted to let you all know.

As example one site www. has an RPM of 35 USD while without www is the half, coincidence ? No idea, I just leave it as I have zero expertise on this.

There is no difference for websites with www and without www, both in earnings and in SERPs.

John Mueller has lost count of how many times he's said this:

[seroundtable.com...]

If anyone here is expecting a change, adding www or removing it, they will probably notice a worsening in traffic, as Google will have to reindex everything again in Search Console, change all the canonicals and will have to reindex the entire site, i.e. , very bad idea.

Do you want to see your earnings increase?

Invest in content/authority/exclusivity.

PS: Article comment:

That's outrageous. Changing your URL from www to non will destroy your rankings... I have seen it happen recently.

@renatovieira,

I did that, changed my domain from non www to www and it cost me big time, my site dropped off the face of the earth in the search results.

Publishers are seeing "two earnings" in the AdSense console, one with www and the other without www.

This is related to Google's tracking, which due to some error on the part of the tracker, crawled one or another page with or without www.

This is not to say that RPM, CPC or CTR is more valuable with or without www.

@etay2k,

I used Ezoic when they were just starting up. I got a lot of personal attention from the people at the top of the company. Overall, I think they are okay--if you need help with ad placement, they do that pretty well, but now Google offers the same thing. The difference is that they can offer more personalized, granular help than Google, which is all automated. They do take a big cut. I forget what it was, but it was noticeable.

Is it some kind of bad joke or nor. I don't know !

Last week's entire earnings have been vanished. They were like this $18,20,22,17; through week days. Now I am seeing they are showing 0.22,0.14,0.08 and so on.

I have been using adsense for years now. Never had any issue. Even when they switched to RPM model sure it was bumpy but after few couple of days everything settled. Surprisingly the week before last week was fine. It's earnings from last Monday is effected.

Somebody told me that as I have not added GDPR, it would have been caused it. What do you guys think?

@seomotionz,

I think it could be related, I have heard similar stories, but I have added GDPR, and it has never happened to me so I can't say for sure.

Also have gdpr from start, something strange is happening, after last google updates I dont believe their systems, maybe some errors with counting stats. I wouldnt be surprised if they had problems with reliable earning counting. So many spaghetti code in google and errors for last years, it is bothering

Isn't it bizar. At this moment:
- Non www 50 pageviews and 50 clicks = $21
- www. 10k pageviews and 350 clicks = $50

There should be not any non www. issue for my website, because every single request on whole website is redirect with 301 to www.
I have tested whole website with different tools. Not any issue between non www and www.

I think again that the offerwall in question is, because the revenue at non-www is enormous comparing to www.

@dolcevita,

very strange, but by checking the Offerwall earnings won't that clarify anything?

It seems to be really related to offerwall because only funnel that my website use is offerwall. Here are some stats for non www (data are rounded):
Funnel clicks: 300
Funnel impression: 3000
Funnel request: 6000
Pageviews: 300
Clicks: 50
Earnings: $21

Conclusion: Use offerwall. Whoever does not use offerwall, the advice is to use it as soon as possible.

ps

Not sure what is different between funnel clicks and clicks?

I've had the www and non-www issue in my reporting for over a year I think, just got use to seeing it in the reports. But my sites are properly (and have been) set up to 301 to www for years.

Mentioned it a looong time back here but no one else seemed to be having the same issue so I just labeled myself crazy and moved on. So all this was very much before Offerwall was even a thing.

@CommandDork

You got that right. Non www appeared before offerwall but i think right now that the funnel also includes anchor ads, siderail ads and vignette ads, but the revenue with them was negligible.

And in the meantime, offerwall appeared, which i think falls under the funnel and which, at least for me, seems to be responsible for the enormous revenue growth.

Ok, I checked found something under my account Adsense/Policy Center/

"Google-served ads on screens without publisher-content" it says "Must fix" (in red). The thing is the page Google is mentioning it is kind of 404 page, if any query is not returned from the site this page shows up.

And also I am seeing auto ads in my site in on.

@dolcevita
Offerwall doesn t work for everyone I ve tested this with 60 websites it s intrusive and earning were ridicilous

@Sissi

Of course. Every website is different. If you have more than 10k visitors, a dynamic website, then I think offerwall will work. It really worked wonders for my websites.

Why I don't see offerwall earnings in rapport?

Edit: I found it.

Offerwall did add some revenue to the bottom line for me BUT there is no way of telling how annoying it actually is to visitors. Personally, I dont like such things as a user and will go someplace else for the same content within seconds of visiting a site. I imagine at least some people are like me in that regard.

So I vacillate between using it and keeping it off from month to month. It usually gets turned off by the end : /

It all depends on the content of the website. For example, I have dynamically informative content such as form-search tool, where even existing pages can be changed depending on the data.

Offerwall is something like I self came up with an idea that I could use on the website :). 1 video Ads of 30 seconds for 24 hours key for free content. Ideal and paid is more than good.

Great day yesterday ending with $150+. Who remembers, I posted a few months ago, before Offerwall appeared, that I could barely earn over $100 a day. Then Offerwall appeared and since then it has become almost standard above $115, and on lucky days much higher, as it was yesterday.
I am very satisfied with the last 2 months. Like I said Offerwall won't work for everyone, but for my sites it's a miracle pill.

Wondering if the global IT outage had any effect on the Adsense side of things here the last few days. One global site I watch seems to show this - traffic suddenly down, revenue suddenly down the last two days.

@CommandDork Since most websites are using linux as a hosting OS it won't impact the internet as it did for Windows reliant ecosystems like flight and mainstream media... only those that have CrowdStrike installed with Windows OS got impacted.

Changed the domain for my main site, it’s been 6 days and still not approved by Adsense, any tips?

@allhearts

I've had to wait up to 2wks for approval for some domains while others were within 24hrs. It really varies and also depends on who gets assigned the task and what their current workload might be.

I just put it out of my mind and work on other projects in the meantime.
