Adsense and GDPR consent cookies

Messaging method is confusing

During the time with Funding Choice things were fine to setup a Google inhouse Cookies consent message.

Funding Choice is now replaced through integrated tools within Adsense and Admanager.

Still something is still wrong here:
Under Add manager /privacy and messaging/ my GDPR message is on

Under Adsense /Privacy and messaging my GDPR message is off

More confusing under Ads /Overview
When using the pen for a specific site after opting for Privacy messages settings it tells you to go to Funding Choices ……
Any expert around with a miracle solution?

Similar topic raised here [webmasterworld.com...] and other thread but no definitive answer.

Google is not helping their publishers with that. I ended up opting for Quantcast. It seems to just work.

If there were a single answer for all sites, all locations there would be a single answer. I agree they do not make it easy. But the best I can tell is that you need to consult your AdSense account.
