May be related to recent GDPR ruling.

- IAB's Transparency and Consent Framework is illegal.
- Google Analytics is illegal.
- Embedding or-and linking external files, hosted outside of the EEA is illegal.
etc...

There is also the war in Ukraine , which is certainly not helping, and dragging attention away.

I guess you are right on spot.

EU is becoming ridiculous on everything, I am afraid the next day I am the illegal thing lol.

I'm not seeing any changes in EU earnings, but if you do, it may very well be related to Ukraine. Just look at the stock markets.

May be related to recent GDPR ruling.

Doubt it. Things don't move that quickly, and the ruling requires the webmaster to make changes. If you haven't, there's no effect.

@blackhat
The drop has nothing to do with GDPR
One of my niche coverage is the EU
last week was a frustrating week but it looks that it has recovered.
I would suggest to take GDPR seriously as Adsense may close your account if you don t comply with the coockies issue.

I do not know if it's the Ukrainian war raging at my country's border or just a google tantrum, but the payment (eCPM) is record low in the last week.

Thanks for the headsup, already added the cookie consent, but the earnings will drop significantly if a forced popup show on users' face lol, I am thinking a better way to do GDPR.

Read somewhere, brain fuzzy at the moment, that g intended to cut off a certain country's adsense access. Wondering if that is part of the problem? This would certainly reduce the ad products available.

Here is Google Press release on actions taken against Russia by Google:

(March 23, 2022) Due to the war in Ukraine, we will pause monetization of content that exploits, dismisses, or condones the war.

(March 10, 2022) Given the recent suspension of Google advertising systems in Russia, we’ll be pausing the creation of new Russian accounts on AdSense, AdMob, and Google Ad Manager. Additionally, we will pause ads on Google properties and networks globally for advertisers based in Russia.

(March 3, 2022) Due to the ongoing war in Ukraine, we will be temporarily pausing ads from serving to users located in Russia.

(February 26, 2022) In light of the war in Ukraine, we are pausing Google’s monetization of Russian Federation state-funded media.

We will continue to actively monitor the situation and make adjustments as necessary.
