Google AdSense New Related Search for Content

Google has announced new related search for content in the AdSense for Search feature which displays search terms related to the content of the pages users are reading on the AdSense site.

Using related search on your content pages can encourage your users to explore relevant topics on your site and engage with search ads.

To use related search on your content pages, you need to complete the necessary contracting steps for AdSense for Search.

Has anyone been able to activate 'related search' in Adsense? I haven't seen any 'related search' or 'AdSense for search' in the Ad Unit menu.

You might find out how to sign up for AdSense for Search at that link to the article in the first post. It says there that to use related search on your content pages, you need to complete the necessary contracting steps for AdSense for Search.

Related Search results have started showing on my site without doing anything. I do have auto ads and allow Google experiments on though. I actually noticed these a few months ago and thought they would be a nice replacement for the old link unit ads, then they seem to just disappear. The full width box shows 5 related page terms which when I clicked ONE go to a search results overlay with 4-5 Google ads at the top followed by results from my site for the same term. I have a screen shot but don't use an image hosting service.

If they bring in what the link units used to earn they will be a welcome addition!
