Don't feel too bad, they took 28% from me. Disgusted. With. Everything.

Better than last month but still poor.
No auto ads last month either.
Maybe it's that Nigerian traffic.

8.5% Clawback for September. Beat September 2019 revenue. Woot, woot!

0.6% clawback, with both manually placed ads and auto ads. Overall, revenues were slightly lower than in September 2019 (about 6% lower, to be precise). Not very exciting and not too bad either.

Just under 1% clawback. Only manually placed ads, I'm not letting Google randomly splatter ads over my pages.
93% increase in Adsense revenue on same month 2019. Month to month comparisons in the same year are pointless for my website because of its seasonal nature.
Improvement in Adsense revenue is likely mainly down to the subject of the website and its link to Coronavirus. Pure luck.

3.3 last month to 6.8 this month for clawback. I wish Google would at least break down the clawback reasons to broad categories like 'ad placement' and 'traffic sources'.

I was expecting the worst after having my highest clawback ever in August (9.4%), but for September I've now had my record lowest: 0.1%.
Make no mistake, my earnings are still low (algorithm hit in May), but at least that's something. No changes made to the website or placements, either.

Earlier in this thread I was dealing with a 30% clawback for August. September clawback was 11%. I was refining my blocking throughout the month, and will probably be around 5% moving forward. Long story short, I blocked large amounts of IPs by ASN - targeting hosting companies in the countries that had high CTR when viewed in my Adsense reports. Thanks a ton to JorgeV and others that helped me discuss the issue. Feel free to PM me if you want any more details, I don't want to continually derail the earnings thread. Due to all the blocking, estimated earnings for September was down from August, but the total after the clawbacks were taken into account was far better than August.

Hello,
Thanks a ton to JorgeV
You are welcome. Also, by the same occasion, you are getting ride of most of "robot" scrapers :)

I'm getting a lot of clicks these days, but that seems to be driving down the CPC, so no difference in income.

@gatormark Me too.
September was good CPC 0.01241, but in October more clicks but CPC get down to 0.00891, so earning its even worst than when was less clicks

SebMP, am I reading that right? Your CPC is a little more than one cent?

CPC, eCPM everything is low this month. Last month one of our main site which uses adsesne, eCPM was more or less around $0.20-$0.50, so even if the site had low click count and/or low CPC. We were earning from impressions.
But this month, specially since this week started, eCPM has gone low as $0.02, we are getting good traffic which is clearly visible on the site but not able to earn much.:(

Yesterday, things were up. pageviews up 18% and revenue up 19%, but CPC was down 29%. October has been a little volatile.

Seeing ads that look like Media.net or link ads but in slots not occupied by Media.net code or link ad code. They say Sponsored | Website.com, and all the links lead to a search page on that site. I don't use auto ads. Anyone else seeing these?

Advertisers are prepping for US elections and keeping money for a short burst at the end of the year...

Higher earnings for me then previous years in Sept and so far in October - exactly what happened 4 years ago during previous presidential elections.
Then it dropped back to lower after the election. I just know not to be disappointed when it goes back down - as it’s nothing I can control.
I’m not happy they are dropping reports from older then 3 years? I’m sure it’s saving them a lot of server storage space - but it’s so important to look back at data. I have downloaded it - but I don’t have the tools to show graphs and run reports.

@leebow Yeah, I’m up about 10% from last year so I’m not complaining; especially after this past summer and the COVID hit.
The best thing for me is that my pageviews are heading North.
