Hello,

When Google Adsense publish that Western Union will be removed from payment's methods, I did change the method to "Wire Transfer to Bank" method.

Everything were just fine, I create new bank account here in my country, then I ask them for the account information... in addition I did add the information to my Google Adsense account.

Well the the first payment was arrived as expected but in Google Adsense receipt it's says 233 EUR, but in the bank it's says only 186 EUR. It's 47 EUR less.

Is that how this how Wire Transfer to Bank work? or is something wrong?

Too shame on Google, Western Union was just fine, right and super quick.

Many thanks in advance.

Hello,

It sounds like your bank took a commission / fee for the wire transfer. Check with your bank, they might apply a fee for incoming international wire transfer.

Be sure that your Adsense account is associated with Google/Adsense Ireland (I guess you are in the European Union). You can see this on your google's receipt.

@JorgeV
Firstly thank you for replying me

Secondly yes it is Google Ireland Limited, but I and my bank is in Morocco. However my bank's commission is declared as about 8 EUR in the bank receipt. But the 47 EUR is missing.

My bank receipt says that payment amount is 186 EUR, and after using 10.79 rate of change it's become 2006.94 DH
then it's says commission 80 DH and 16 DH as TVA (tax)... after that the amount of money I received is 1910.94 DH

As you see there's no mention to any other commission, and it says that payment amount is 186 EUR not 233 EUR as Google Ireland Limited declared in their receipt.

Thanks again

Hello,

I still think it's related to international wire transfer fees.

So it can be your bank automatically deducting these fees, or, may be it's Google Ireland which has fees to pay to send payment outside of Europe, and so deducting these fees from your payment. I don't know.

For example, I am in the EU, if I receive a payment in dollar, from the USA, my bank charges me 20€ of fees, for incoming international wire transfer, and another 20€ fee for currency exchange. (yes, my bank is expensive, others are way cheaper).

@SebMP

Hi
I have the same problem as you, how to Solve It?
in google adsense receipt it's says 108€, but in the bank (Banque Populaire Maroc) it's says only 61€. It's 47€ less.

I still think it's a matter of international wire transfer fees of some kind. You should ask your bank, and if your bank says it's not from them, then, you should ask Adsense. Also, at Adsense be sure that you look at the "finalized" earning, and not the "estimated" earning.

@JorgeV

Yes 108€ is finalized earning, not the estimated
Ok, I'll contact the bank

Thank you

Yes, this is a problem. I live in Guatemala (Central América) and been using Wester Union for years, they take a fee from your money but it's low, fair I would say. I was really disappointed when reading about this change removing Western Union.

Sending a check used to be my first option (many years ago), but besides taking too long to arrive and too long to get the money (15 days deposit or more), I also faced the issue of checks being robbed and cashed. Complained directly with Google and while I had the luck to have a real person taking my case, they did nothing. Asked me a lot of questions, asked me to send papers, etc and promised an answer in a week or two... never to hear from them ever again. Yes, there was a time where you could talk to someone, there was even a Google Adsense person in the forum, those days are gone. Checks are not an option for me, besides the national mail company died.

There was no way to deposit the money on a bank account, and Wire Transfers... I remember there was no option for my country (Guatemala didn't even appear in the list), back in the day I seriously considered opening an account in México or Costa Rica. Now... today? I haven't checked the wire transfer options.

I have reached a point where I'm not even sure I'm going to stay in the program anymore. What? yes. It pays very little, the site looks ugly, and the ads are hitting my website speed, my sites are fast, optimized and load in the blink of an eye without Adsense. Sadly... Adsense is what makes my sites look terrible.

I don't feel this is worth the hassle anymore.

I'm very curious on how much this is going to affect the number of Adsense users active accounts, or if at some point this is on purpose to reduce such numbers. Or it's related to keep it alive inside certain countries where other payment options are not so difficult.

- Adsense is not as profitable as in the past
- Many people have to wait now 6-12 months to reach the US$100 (while in the past half month did the trick)
- Consider... US$100 every 10 months and still having to loose a percentage on fees
- Consider how ugly and slow sites become with Adsense

I was already considering removing Adsense before this happened (mostly because of low earning and being Adsense what causes sites to peform less than ideal).
