I'm in Canada and my payment arrived this morning. It was showing as Pending since the 21st, as usual.

Adsense seems to be up today. This will be my best day since March 12. Sill hurting though with school being out in many places.

Yes, Adsense is doing better today than it has in a while. Even with reduced traffic, earnings are decent.

@Cralamarre - what niche? We're seeing ad-earnings down over 50%... (UK finance/investment).

@Fuzzyfish1000 Travel and Finance are two of the three hardest-hit industries. I have a financial website too.

Received an email this morning from AdSense saying that my site does not have an ads.txt file, even though it has had one for ages. I only have the one site and there are no alerts on my AdSense homepage, so I'm assuming it's just a glitch. Anyone else receive this?

I received it as well and I do have an ads.txt file in place.

After yesterday's big jump in AdSense earnings, today is back down again.

@Cralamarre It happens when your ads appear on another site which doesn't have ads.txt file. Once I got that email too and found out that I had another site that I totally forget about.

I'm hoping these abysmal EPCs are partly because it is the end of the quarter. But I doubt April will be much better.

@devoo That could be it, but I've been informed several times in the past that my ads were appearing on other sites (sites that were displaying my content without permission), and no mention was ever made of my ads.txt file.
There's nothing currently in my AdSense reports about other sites displaying my ads, but who knows.

9% CTR happens when you limit ads to above the fold. Many pageviews don't even show the ads below the fold so no click is possible but the pageview still counts thus lowering the overall CTR.
I don't think focusing on a CTR, low or high, is entirely helpfull in diagnosing poor results. Page RPM is often more telling.

I received ads.txt email too right after I updated WordPress and plugins. In my case, ads.txt wasn't loading with ?nocache after the update, so it was a legit warning.

Really I don't know what to say this year AdSense earnings since January has been the worst earning in AdSense and it's really discouraging now so angry right now just wasting my precious traffic :(

So funny that all the complaints here are partly because of lack of wanting to evolve... don't use only Adsense use Ad Manager (DFP) to use both Adsense, affiliates, etc.
More disturbing are malicious ads that take over the screen with spam. This can only come from the Adsense network and that is all to blame Google.

I've started a topic here in the past: [webmasterworld.com...] In my opinion with all the lockdowns around the world it's the time to activate Ad Manager and use time while being at home ;-)

@Web01, everyone with an Adsense account can start with Ad Manager. I'll try to post there more experiences.

CPC and RPM are down by 50-70% in the last few days. My traffic is stable and is mainly from US, but stats are terrible. I think the outbreak is causing major drop in ad spend.

Yes, looks like companies cutting down their budgets. Are there any benefits of using Admanager ?
