Hi all,

I've worked it out 20% of my visitors are now using ad blocking software - I've always been an AdSense only publisher - as no other networks have paid as well - but now, losing 20% of potential revenue? I need some advice.

Is anyone using a company that can show ads when AdSense is blocked? Preferably CPM.

Thanks so much!

One does not need software to block ads. A savvy user can use their hosts file on their computer to block ads. So if someone makes a suggestion of a company you will have to check if that company is on a block list for the hosts file. Google ad blocking hosts file to learn more.

Those CPM ads will be served with javascript, from a well known/blacklisted domain or including pictures with standard sizes (i.e. 728x90), so the ad blockers will have no trouble to block your CPM ads.

The solution is there (I can't remember the post; search this forum) but it is not easy and requires a bit of programming.
