Hey folks..

as many might have experienced a drop in income due to the fact that the text-only ads have been phased out during the past few months. These ads always performed very well for me and I can see the effect of them being removed. Roughly 25-30% drop in income. Any other similar experiences?

Also, link units were a great source for me until the cpc dropped dramatically across the board (there was a thread here somewhere) in late of last year. I haven't re-implemented them back but was curious if those that used link ads, if the value has increased back up to par?

Thanks guys.. long time no post but always reading.

Hello-

An alternative to the defunct text-only ads, is the in-feed ads. You can customize in-feed ads with or without an image, and with or without even the description of the ads.

Now, I don't know if advertisers have to opt in to appear in in-feed ads, or if this is the same inventory.
