Adsense Ad Placed In a Slider?

Anyone know if this is permitted?

I was thinking of placing a series of adsense ads in a slider. Has anyone ever done this/is it permitted?

The only part of the policy I can find which might address this, is the following:

Auto-refreshing ads
Publishers are not permitted to refresh a page or an element of a page without the user requesting a refresh. This includes placing ads on pages or in placements that auto-redirect or auto-refresh. Additionally, publishers may not display the ads for a preset time (i.e., pre-roll) before users can view content such as videos, games, or downloads.

I can't imagine Google is saying that websites with adsense ads can't use sliders at all, right? I mean, not even for other content?

Is a slider "refreshing a page" without the user requesting a refresh?

To me, sliders are not "refreshing" anything. They are part of the established content, right?

Sounds "slippery" to me. :)

Anything interactive is a refresh (from the browser point of view if nothing else).

One of those "play the game at your own peril" kind of things.

I finally found a policy under "modifying adsense code" that I think applies:

Techniques to avoid
Here are some techniques you’ll want to avoid:

Manipulating the delivery or presentation of the ad to attract unwarranted attention (e.g., ads sliding into the screen, ads zooming in/out).
Triggering an ad click during user drag actions on a mobile web page.

My implementation doesn't specifically involve the ad sliding onto the screen. But, it's close enough that it may violate the spirit of this policy, nonetheless. So, I am going to avoid it.
But, if it doesn't slide, maybe it wouldn't be an issue. Tough to say, but not going to do it anyway, just to be safe.

I have placed a single in-feed ad in a carousel(slider).
See this thread: [webmasterworld.com...]

I implemented it in mid March. There has been no issue. But the website doesn't get much traffic and the ads get poor viewability, because users don't always scroll to the ad.

I was thinking of placing a series of adsense ads in a slider.

The only thing that concerns me is "a series of ... ads". You need to be sure to have sufficient content in your slider to warrant the ads.

A few weeks ago on one of my sites I noticed Adsense were showing 'slider' ads - two ads placed side-by-side that self-scrolled left and right. Haven't seem them since.
