How to stop displaying Adsense at home (I have a static IP)?

I have a static IP and I have Adsense blocker on my laptop so I don't accidentally click on the ads. I have a medically complex child and I will be getting nurses to my home everyday. I suppose they will want to use my internet. How can I block Adsense from showing on their tables? Of course I don't want to ask them to install anything so is there a way to "tell" my IP not to display Adsnese to anyone using that IP?

I wouldn't normally recommend it, but Pi-hole [pi-hole.net] might work for you.

Note that it's totally fine for you (or anyone using your internet connection) to click on AdSense ads on websites other than your own.

As robzilla said it's acceptable for people to click ads from your IP. Any workarounds you use might actually keep you above the radar. Also, I would be a little uneasy letting people use my internet when they are working?

I agree. Well, my baby sleeps really good at night so I rather have the nurse browse the Internet instead of falling asleep...

if you want to block adsense from your own computer it is trivial - you could for instance adjust your hosts file if you are on windows, so that calls to adsense go to 127.0.0.1 (eg that computer and thus there is nothing displayed as the adsense code is never retrieved)

if you want to block all computers/phones that use your router - then your router may have a similar function (but it won't called a hosts file), alternatively most routers have a firewall (block ip function), you could block the range of IPs that adsense uses (i'm not sure what that is but i imagine you could find out)

... otherwise as a last resort the pi-hole suggestion above may be a good option for you - i've never used it so i'm not sure if will be slower than the dns server you currently use.

Lol use the Publisher Toolbar extension with Chrome and overlay. You get more information about the ads and you can't accidentally click at them.

Why not provide the carer with a VPN? That way it'll keep everything separate.
