I've been testing Sulvo site-wide, in addition to my Adsense banners. Their system focuses on a single sticky banner, and you can choose where to affix it to your page. I chose to stick a 300x250 in the bottom right of my page, on all devices except for mobile.

This is actually working out extremely well for me! Yesterday, this one banner raised just under the same amount of revenue that 3 banners raised with Adsense! It started out raising about 1/4th the amount of Adsense, but since it was in-addition-to Adsense it was still just free money. But since then it has grown daily.

I had a few complaints from users that it was too intrusive, but after reviewing screenshots I honestly couldn't see why; the banner didn't hide any pertinent content. So I think they were just opposed to any change. I've kept an eye on traffic and pageviews, and traffic has actually gone up slightly, so no one left the site because of it.

I've also been keeping an eye on Adsense, and nothing has decreased... the click through rate is still the same, and the Page RPM hasn't really changed.

So at this point, it just seems like a nearly 100% increase in revenue!

Further, I've emailed them for support a few times, and I've had fast and helpful replies each time from David. I'm gathering that it's a small-ish company, which I tend to prefer.

It's worth noting, though, that my site hasn't been made mobile-friendly yet (I've been working on it but it's taking forever), and when I ran a mobile sticky it raised less than $1 /day. So I took that off, but it may do better for mobile-friendly sites.

They pay on a Net 60 (like most), so I haven't gotten paid yet. But I've read several reviews, and no one has had any complaints about Sulvo so I'm not worried about that.

So far, though, I can highly recommend using Sulvo in addition to your Adsense!

Sorry I just now saw your message.

Everything seems fine on my sites, and revenue is about normal for the day so I don't think I saw any down-time. Or if I did then it was minimal.

Have you had a reply from them yet?

csdude55,

I have a question regarding sulvo. What kind of reports do they(sulvo) provide? Do they provide reports based on UTM Metrics?

The reports aren't that detailed, honestly. I get LLR (lazy loading requests), vCPM, CTR, and Earnings... that's pretty much it.

I haven't seen anything for UTM, but they might be able to accommodate it if you ask. They've worked with me on some special requests, so it's worth asking.

Thanks for the reviews of Sulvo! I was meaning to try it but a friend of mine had some problems getting paid. Can anyone confirm they actually pay?

I've been using Sulvo for non-premium placements for about 3-4 years and payment has always been consistent. After seeing this thread, I'm gonna give that sticky ad and a premium placement a test and see what happens.

So far so good for me, @publife19. I've only had a few payments, but they were all exactly on time.

I have no idea on that one, @Lame_Wolf... I did something similar with YieldBuild several years ago, who I don't think even exists anymore, but they're still on my account!

I would email David directly, he should be able to help. I don't remember if I can post his email address here so I'll PM you.

TOS: adsense doesn't want to share page space with other contextual advertisers, are the two compatible in Google's eyes?

Sorry that I missed your question, @JS_Harris!

As far as I can tell, Adsense doesn't have a problem with that anymore:

[support.google.com...]

On my smaller sites I have a Sulvo sticky ad in the bottom right of the page, along with Adsense banners on the page itself. No complaints from Adsense, and they were quick to flag me on anything else in the last year.

csdude55,

Anything info about revenue share. What revenue share do that work on?

Do you mean, sharing the ad revenue with site contributors? I have another thread on that somewhere on here, I think.

Adsense used to have a revenue sharing program, but they stopped it some time back. I haven't found any other company that offers it, either.

The only suggestion given to me is to create a banner ad that you want to give to that contributor, so you can keep up with their exact value, and then cut them a check manually. I hate that idea, but it's the only thing I could find.

I tried Sulvo, but they do not support infinite scroll bydefault. They shared an article which is a bit difficult to implement.

Yeah, I haven't gotten to the point where I'm ready to release my infinite scroll yet, but I made the same discovery. The only real option is to create a bunch of different ad units (more than you would possibly use on a single page), and then load each ad unit separately.

Sulvo reports are a bit skewed. UTM reports are estimated and they all are wrong. They do not have even normal terms which most of the publishers understand like ecpm, filled impression, ad impression, cpm, earning per 1000 impression. No country wise report either.

They load all ads as lazy load. Do not have option to disable it. (I have already lazy load site, making ad lazy load on top of lazy load site doesn't make any sense).

I tried creating bunch of different ad units for different pages in the post, it did not work either. I certainly hope they improve these thing in future.
