Any suffering from severe Adsense revenue deduction today?

Hello

Today I am facing a weird issue where my Adsense revenue is being deducted every few minutes unlike any other day before.

Usually, I get around 1-2$ deducted a day on average, but today the deductions are severe and almost 50% of my revenue is being deducted like once my earnings increase 1-2$, they decrease around 1$ when I refresh again in a while. Also, the clicks are being deducted severely.

Anyone suffering from this issue today?

I've seen the perpetual clawbacks several times, and assume it happens more than I notice.

I don't look at earnings much. Usually towards the end of the month I pay more attention.

On my accounts, there's never anything "severe" though. At the most I loose a couple bucks every several months.

If you saw a significant clawbach happen at one time, your pages were likely hit by Clickbots. I have most of those pests blocked, so don't suffer.

clickbots or invalid clicks. If I don't make mistake, Google validate a click only if the visitor stays a given length of time, at the advertiser's site.

I mean the issue is just recently, I have huge sites with around 2M visitors a month and I make usually around 60-70$ a day but like yesterday I made around 60$ but they decreased to 20$ where every few minutes the amount decreases.

I know about the invalid clicks and such stuff but I mean it’s weird that this issue became suddenly without changing anything in my site or traffic source or amount of traffic I get that’s why I got worried.

May be Adsense refined its procedure to validate clicks, who knows.

Yeah that’s why asking if it’s only me or it’s a new procedure or maybe a glitch, becusse it’s really annoying tbh

I asked one of my friends today and he said he is suffering from the same issue since a couple of days, it seems the issue is common....

If anyone is suffering from this issue please let me know if there is anyway to solve it

You need to manually examine your raw server logs and determine exactly what is the source causing the issue.

Asking other if they've seen similar activity accomplishes nothing... you still don't know what happened and you haven't taken appropriate action to stop it from happening again.

I see the issue may be common for some users to a point, Seroundtable cited my article here

So anyone knows what is the Google core update they are talking about?
