Adsense putting ads on pictures now?

I saw some ads being placed on pics on another website

I was looking at some websites ant I saw some ads appearing on the bottom of pictures from the website, is this a new format from Adsense or is it a different ad service that does this

For example a picture you host on your website not the ad companies pic, they will put an add on the bottom of the picture.

Sure it's not just an ad, maybe in a floating div, that displayed for you that way because of your device viewport?

They are called in-image ads and are available across a variety of ad networks, except AdSense. Good luck!

Do they appear on the image in Google image search? In other words, are you credited with an impression when the image is hot-linked?

It's a script that you put on your website that dynamically places ads at the bottom of your in-content images.

So no, the source file is not affected by that.

Yes they are in image ads, just wondering if it was Adsense providing this service, I think those ads would get more clicks. If adsense allowed those type of ads that would be interesting.
