Do 300x250 average a better CPC than 336x280 or should it be around the same? I’ve heard that 300x250 can do better because more advertisers choose this size but I wanted from who may have used both and has been able to test.

My understanding is that 336x280 is preferable because it can accommodate both 336x280 and 300x250 ad units. The highest bidding ad unit from both sizes should appear in the 336x280 slot, or so the theory goes. I'm not sure which size is more profitable over time.

Alright thanks for letting me know. In your experience, which has been more profitable over mobile?

I looked at my reports for the last 18 months (since Jan 1st 2017). Impression RPM for both is fairly close on desktop but 336x280 does a little better on mobile and tablets. But that's me, YMMV.
