Sounds like a protection racket to me - ad companies are pretty good at picking up click fraud and understanding who is behind it.

@Nazhahp - I would have said go to Sucuri for website security, but I have had both CloudFlare, and now Sucuri, and I was still getting "fraudulent" clicks to the tune of a 40% clawback every month.

I agree with Linda. Sucuri's WAF is a good option to reduce fake traffic.

If you would just watch your server logs and identify/block the click-bots, it would solve the problem.
