Hello Expert,

Hope you all doing well!

let me get you straight into the point of this post, well my Account CTR was around 3% up to 4% per day in the last 3 months. but yesterday the account CTR jumped to 7% due to responsive link ad unit that I implemented into my blog posts.

I have some questions regarding this!

Is it okay if i keep on using this type of ads or is it better to avoid using them?

why do responsive ad links unit increases CTR ?

Link ad units always have a higher CTR than normal text and image ads. Usually much higher. Partly because they target so well. My link ad CTR jumped in August when Google increased the link size. I don't remember if it increased when I switched to responsive units but since the units look better on mobile, that might be why your CTR rose. The high CTR is usually offset by a much lower EPC, so they are kind of a wash. I used to worry about the high CTR but don't anymore. You just do not want link ads near navigation or they might invite invalid clicks.

Agreed. I have experienced crazy-high CTRs with Link Ads as well.

i am using ad links before content... which means the ad unit is away from the navigation bar.
thank you guys! I really appreciate your replies.

kind Regards!
