Is there a certain amount of clicks you need to get before you can make money from them? Or does the user need to take action from the click?
I have had adsense up for a couple weeks on my site and have had a couple dozen clicks but have not received any money for them.
Is this normal?

Also note that public service ads get 0.00 per click.
These are the black and white charity type advertisements that are shown on pages that have not yet been crawled to determine what kind of advertisements to show.

You will also get public service ads if Google can't find matching ads in its inventory.

Also, note that it is FORBIDDEN by Google to discuss the revenue you receive, or don't receive....
Draw your own conclusions.

Matt, that prohibition is not total. You can talk in general terms, or give hypothetical examples. You can ask, as the original poster did, why one is earning nothing for some clicks.....
[added] What you can not do is, say, report on your actual impressions, clicks, and earnings for a particular day, week, or month.

I had that same problem when I first started the 6 clicks I got thre first day did not register. But the second day was fine. Your not clicking on your own ads are you? Google doesn't count clicks from your computer. I know this cause I have accidently clicked once or twice and they never registered. My mother's computer on my network also does not register. She clicked a few before I was able to tell her not to.

Revenue and clicks are reported symultaneusly but their registration and credit is not.
