I recently received and Adsense site level violation for adult content and I'm wondering, I don't plan on getting another and have removed everything to comply amongst other content, but how many of these violations are you allowed? Has anyone had content violations on there site? What happened in your experience?

It depends on how much of your content is not valuable. If it was some sexual joke as a blog comment, you shouldn't worry too much, but you need to make sure this won't happen again (anti-spam measures).

If more than x% of your picture galleries have provocative content (like underwear or swimsuits), you might get your website banned for good.

AFAIK, all bans are set manually so there is a difference between some nasty user generated content (profanity in an exotic language) and webmasters greedy for low value content.

I would assume only the one for that infringement category. Additional violations for anything related would likely cause account suspensation.

I've seen people get multiple site level violations on their websites and I've heard that at that level the most that usually happens is ads are disabled on that site, and it's more at the account level that suspensions happen. Is that true? Also my site only had one gallery with bikinis and things and I removed that along with anything else I thought might be risky. Should my site be okay if I stray away from anything with underwear and bikinis?

I've also heard if you get a violation or two over time (like a year or so) it's most likely going to be less serious as if you were to get another one very quickly

Grapetimes - I would ignore all the hearsay and only trust what Google itself says. We see members getting sudpended for seemingly small infractions, but of course they may not be telling their entire story.

It doesn't really say too much about how many warnings you will receive but I did come across this while doing some research and his warnings were fairly recent: [goo.gl...]

Well IMO it's a lot easier to just play by the rules, than to try and get your account back after they've suspended you... just say'n :)

Very true I'm not looking to have anything happen to my account and have deleted everything I felt may have been considered adult content as well as what they told me too. Just looking for what others experienced when they've gotten warnings.

But as long as I've removed everything adult or that may be considered adult I should be fine right?

Probably, long as you and Google have the same definition of "adult."

I got my ads blocked for a website just for embedding a Youtube video in a post, marked safe for kids (you can watch it without being logged in), containing a photo shooting for sportwear (probably the shorts were too tight).

So, Google own's content (they own Youtube) marked safe, got my website banned for "Sexual content".

Their policies are veeeeery ambiguous sometimes...
