So my adsense shows higher page views than analytics. Its higher by about 20%. Whats weird is analytics is on every page in the footer. But adsense is on most but not all pages.

Has anyone else experienced this? How did you fix it?

Yes. AdSense and Google Analytics show different number of page views.

Add in views shown by about 5 other sources I use, and they all are different.

Go figure!

Hey Romerrome,

The reason your Google Anlaytics shows a different number of pageviews than AdSense is because they are tracking different metrics. Your AdSense account will show you the number of page views for pages that include AdSense for content ad units. If you have pages without these ad units, they will not appear as an AdSense pageview but will show up in your Google Analytics account as a pageview.

It's important to make sure you have the Google Analytics code on every page of your website to get the most accurate data. As netmeg mentioned earlier, this article (https://support.google.com/adsense/answer/6090783?hl=en) is a great resource to learn more about the discrepancies.

I read the article. But it doesn't really explain my situation. I also understand that adsense only counts when I have adsense on a page.

If my adsense views were lower then I would think its because I don't have adsense on every page.

But my problem is that my adsense pageviews are HIGHER. And I have my analytics code in the header so it should get hit on every pageview.
