I was wondering if any one knows if by enabling media.net mobile ads it goes against Adsense's policy? Specifically media.net has a mobile ad that hovers over the bottom of the page.
Thanks,

No, it's not against AdSense TOS - UNLESS you have been approved for Google's mobile anchor ad beta, in which case they require that they're the only one enabled.

In other words - when Google turned mobile anchor ads on for my sites, I had to go into my media.net accounts and disable all the mobile ad units. (Since I'm only running 300x250 and 160x600 sizes, that didn't bother me, but if I was running a leaderboard or another size, then I'd have probably had to contact someone at media.net to turn off *just* the anchor ads, if that's even possible)

netmeg, how do the two compare to each other? Should I be excited about mobile anchor ads?

I was never able to find in the media.net reports where they broke mobile revenue out. And for the AdSense anchor unit, they gave me *one* custom channel for all my sites, so that's a little annoying. I can't tell if it's working better on one site over another. But overall, I'd say the CTR is really really low but the EPC is not far off the regular ads. I'll know better a month or so. My Google rep told me that I wouldn't see the performance like from my other ad units, and she was right (it's still in beta) But I figure it doesn't hurt since so much of my traffic is mobile. I don't really have any big expectations, so I'll be happy with anything it gets.

Thanks sensei. Mobile anchors are especially interesting since my mobile desktop split is roughly 60/40.

One more thing. How does one get a Google rep? Is it related to ad impressions an/or revenue? One of our websites is making 5 figures monthly, so I thought that at some point someone would reach out to us.

I dunno. I'm not sure. Maybe it's in relation to how much noise you make. Google hasn't reached out to me in a few years, but every time I send in a support request I get the same person who pretty much continues the last conversation I had with her and addresses me like she knows me. So I think of her as my rep.

MAYBE THERE'S ONLY ONE!
