New Adsense account for website?

Dear WebmasterWorld community, my Adsense got disabled after 12 years of existence due to a policy breach (passing on PII). I've submitted an appeal to Google and they will review it and I hope we can fix the problem since it is clearly a technical issue caused by a third party not me.

Anyway, my question is this: In case Google will not reinstate me, will it be possible for me to sell my website so the new owner can put Google Ads on it or does the ban cover my website as well as me as the publisher?

Many thanks,
OM

If someone else takes ownership of your site and it's clear to Google that it's a real sale (and not just you under a different name) and it has different content, it might be able to run ads again. Might. Not for sure. I wouldn't count on it because it's by no means a sure thing.
