February had only 28 days, but for me was pretty good in the end, but I do not think it will last, because I see less traffic and clicks each day.

We had President Day, Valentines Day and Freezing temperatures in US.

Let's hope that March 2015 will be better; there are no major holidays.

The cpc has nose dived for me hardcore even though the CTR has improved to what it was before but the cpc has not....

Good RPM today, but low traffic, funny how that always happens

Right now I'm smiling, but it's an upside down smile. I don't know what to make of it right now. Happy sad you could call it. I'm optimistic, but at the same time I'm pessimistic. Let's see how this plays out by the end of the day.

Absolutely dire CTR today with no clicks whatsoever from UK and USA, no red bar however fingers crossed it's just delayed otherwise a new record low beckons.

Sometimes I wonder...

We are a dozen of guys lamenting about adsense/google/our business, but are we really representative ?

I see so little info about this situation, not to mention the last 2 years of Panda & Penguin screw-ups, that I'm wondering if is not something wrong with us?

Maybe traffic and revenue is booming in other corners of the internet!

On the SEO part the situation is so quiet, that I suppose is dead :)

What the neck just happened?

I was reading this thread with the old interface, logged-in and now I've got a responsive one...seems good at the moment.

Everyone's mileage will vary and, I feel, even more so by country. I'm in the UK and have a pulse on what's happening locally to me and, in general, many couldn't give a damn about webby things and the impending doom and gloom that was predicted for businesses IF they didn't do this, that and the other!

In reality the WWW is now quite mature for many, they know where they want to go to get things and what they want to read, if they're into social many do not even go anywhere else. I actually overheard someone say the other night "You're either an Amazon person or an Ebay person, I'm Amazon!". That really surprised me, why close yourself off to other channels?

So much has changed since 2008, that made a lot of people take a serious life reality check, the incredible amount of pub closures in the UK has been witness to that, in general I feel that many people now have completely different lifestyles, possibly expectations but definitely priorities plus I've watched my own two daughters' attitudes towards many things change enormously.

In my own industry within Europe realworld product sales are up yet Net activity is way down. My products are heavy and it didn't take long for people to suss-out that whist someone the other end of the country may be cheaper, the cost of transportation soon negated any savings. For example my sister's business used to travel all over the country, now they restrict it to a large local region where they can be there and back in a day.

She's one of many who no longer uses AdWords in my trade and I mean probablly several hundred nationally who no longer bother with it since I simply do not see their ads on my pages any more. Ok, maybe they don't want to appear on my sites however they would be slightly crazy when I have more widget coverage than anyone else.

So, what's the answer you are looking for? If it's light, postable, easily delivered by courier, downloadable or easily collectable, then you're competing with loads of others to get your site ranking well and get ads in front of faces, if you're not in the above then it's going to continue to be a hard slog if all you do is Internet marketing.

How much of the above also applies to the USA I have no idea but I do know this is quite generic across Europe within my trade.

I had a very nice ctr for Sunday but of course the CPC was horrible so as well that drove the RPM down.

Monday has a super start with unknown RPM and CTR values. What makes it even better is the red bar that is being shown, which in general means more money coming in. March 2015 has already outperformed March 2014 with similar traffic flows.

Well first of all, we're not all guys.

Second of all - no, of course we're not representative. Most people only bitch when something's wrong. The happy people have no reason to come seek us out on WebmasterWorld. We are a pretty small microcosm, and except for the old old old timers, many came here in the first place to try to diagnose an earnings drop.

Did G really break their system as some have inferred?

Certainly the last four fays have been much better for me and especially so my USA EPC which had taken an unprecedented hammering, now it looks "normal".

Fingers crossed it doesn't get fubard again any time soon.

Today on the 300x600 ad unit when a text ad shows getting tiny font ads (10 ads per unit) that are almost impossible to see.

Using responsive code.

Title text of these ads is smaller than body text on page. [imgur.com ]

I did clear browser (tired of ads following me around) and then started seeing these. Maybe Google punishment for deleting cookies:)

If I keep seeing will switch back to 300x250

Meh, honestly it's stretches like this where I'm strongly considering packing it in completely. I'm traffic dependent, not necessarily Adsense dependent. It's like a double fail I suppose. Oh well, let's see how things go from here. Adsense has been the glue, but this is becoming abysmal.

Last 2 days were good for me, but the real problem is the ever declining traffic.

Anyway, as a person, I have 2 problems, not only on my sites:
1. I use a Mac so a lot of ads are mac related (frustrating as hell)
2. A lot of ads are Interest Based ads!

So, it seems that the contextual part is missing!
On a lot of sites I do not see contextual ads!

Hey G, where are my clicks from yesterday for the UK? You're still broken.

As always when I have a red bar I have a much lower day however setting a new low record of ZERO clicks all day for the UK and no PVs in the last 7 hours is stretching things a bit TOO FAR G!

The only upside is that UK record cannot now be broken...unless G starts taking from me:-(
