On several sites I see the Ad Links units being blank. Are Google sunsetting the AdLinks?

I haven't heard anything. But they don't seem to be very interested in making them responsive (like they're pushing the ads to be) plus they flat out told me last year they weren't going to be putting resources into fixing a bug I found with them, so... it wouldn't surprise me.

There was a time they made me a lot of money. But that was years ago.

You can still create them, so I'd say they're still around. I dunno for how long though.

Don't know but they nerfed the hell out of them with the most recent update, which added some stupid little image in the top right corner of them

They still exist since I have a couple of sites that only have AdLinks and they get some quite tasty click values, for the other sites they are performing as normal.

My adlinks are showing.

What netmeg says seems true. They've done absolutely nothing with horizontal Adlinks to make them mobile/responsive friendly. So it makes you wonder how long they'll be around.

I've followed the trend where the amount of content on each page is substantially more than in years past. Only allowing 3 regular Adsense ads per page really hurts.

I would love to use adlinks but the vertical ones look crappy and the horizontal ones aren't responsive friendly.

Heaven for bid they could just configure something like a 640 horizontal Adlink that would just collapse to two lines on a 320 screen.

They are still showing.I do not see them only if I use my Mobile phone.I hope that they will keep Adlinks. If I tell you that Adlinks made each month about 50% of my earnings then you will probably not believe me but it is true. And I talk here about couple thousand Euro's only from Adlinks. They perform much much better than any other units.

Adlinks should be retired. The CPC is absolutely abyssmal.

I believe you since that's been about my ratio since they were introduced.

I have ad links on a few pages still and they do about 25% of the revenue on those pages. What I don't know is if the overall page revenue would decrease if I took them off or if the overall page revenue would increase if I added them to more pages. More ads often does not translate into more revenue.

Dolce vita that used to be my ratio until they nerfed them with that stupid image that they added. They got so bad after that that I removed them. What position did you stick them in?

I place always full combination if it is possible 3Adlinks unit + 3 Adunit. Because my websites are about giving informations it is possible that it is exacly reason that Adlinks unit perform excellent.

As i can remember Adlink units are 2x click that count as 1. First click then go to another page then you need to click again and that click count.

One Adlinks unit is below horizontal menu bar, one is above part of website where informations are given to visitor and one is vertical aside.
