Google's latest AdSense missive suggests the company is looking for new AdSense partners.

What could the number of AdSense partner applications have dropped off in recent times, or is it a push by Google to get to even more Internet users? Either way, I can't remember the last time I saw such a message from AdSense.

What is Google AdSense? AdSense is a free, simple way to earn money by placing ads on your website. You can show relevant and engaging ads to your site visitors and even customize the look and feel of ads to match your website.Google Appears to be Seeking New AdSense Publishers [adsense.blogspot.com]

I think it could be related to the fact that an Adsense account is now more than just Adsense. It is connected to other business services like Consumer Surveys or DFP and it could expand in the future.

My prediction - we'll see less and less banned Adsense accounts because it would not make business sense to completely ban an Adsense account which may combine other, unrelated to Adsense, services.

It seems that I am always reading in the forum that people can't get their sites approved, I assume because of low quality. Maybe Adsense is trying to find some better quality publishers.

Since this is the first post on "Inside AdSense" in 2015, I think someone realized that they should post something to make the blog look more active. So they simply chose something generic.

all the comments to that post

I'm left with the impression that nobody outside South Asia uses AdSense. Weird. Or is it that nobody outside South Asia believes anyone else reads the Comments?

I didn't even know there were comments until I went back to look for them and realized Ghostery was doing it's job. So I paused blocking momentarily to see what you were all talking about. What a sad waste of life and bandwidth.

Why does Adsense allow such useless comments? You'd think they'd moderate that page.

What I absolutely love is the sheer number of link drops. Is someone going for a record? Shortest elapsed time between AdSense approval and account suspension, something like that?

Nah, they would prefer to smack down much more useful sites!

AdSense are always looking for more publishers. I think as Woody_midrib said, this was just someone putting up something generic because nothing had been posted this year. People not using adsense would be really unlikely to ever see it.

I had to laugh when one guy with a URL that sounded like a blatant breach of the ToS (can't repeat it here of course) was claiming that his site was compliant. The rest just made me despair about the human race!

Old Web sites die and new ones are born every day. It's all about maintaining the fertility rate.

It's amazing how many people don't even make the slightest effort to understand the rules and then feel hard done by when they are thrown off the program. As an AdSense Partner we hear from these people a lot.

The ones that really get to me though as those who get caught breaking TOS, thrown off and then claim the AdSense is a scam. Unfortunately there are enough journalists happy to publish these claims without doing any research.
