I always looks at these with interest since they definitely show a trend, so what happened to me?

I started the year with 27.6% TabMob and ended with 36.6%, the quarters went like this:

1st 24.5%
2nd 25.4%
3rd 30.1%
4th 36.2%

Interestingly over the year tablets went from 17.4% to 21.0% whereas smartphones 7.1% to 15.2% however November alone was 17.0% and December 17.8%, that's just over a 250% increase.

All I use on my html5 responsive sites are two ads, a 320 x 100 at the top and a 300 x 250 at the bottom, nothing else, overall CTR on these sites is better than desktop with the 300 x 250 easily the higher earner but, most interestingly, over the last quarter an identical CPC!

Has anyone else a comparison?

How do you do that in a responsive site on desktop it shows different ads and on mobile it shows 320x100 ads?

I am struggling with mobile earnings.

Nope, the same ads show on both desktop and mobile, the 320 x 100 looks pretty smart on any pages.

I have my designs set to a maximum of 1024 pixel width so they don't elasticate all over the place!

Speaking as a Back From The Dead person, I've noticed people who are heavy SmartPhone, Tablet, etc. users seem to spend a lot of time on games, social networking, etc. but aren't aware of what is right in front of their eyes.

I have (younger) relatives that can't seem to function without that mobile device, but I can show them one of my sites and they don't realize what they could click on and generate revenue for me.

I guess that's good, it keeps me from having trouble with AdSense.

I saw a freind of mine the other night reading a novel on her smartphone in the pub.

I do that. Not in the pub though.

Farmboy, most people don't really care about generating revenue for publishers, even if they're relatives. They care about solving their own problems or their own entertainment. Ads are just something that get in the way, unless they are directly addressing a need the user has.

New pickup line:

Hey baby, is that a smartphone in your hand?

Well, you can finish it any way you like!

I'll show you my device, if you show me yours.

Sure. Some hacker is using mine, what's your password?
