The month that starts my traditional slide towards Xmas and New Year.

The internet didn't create the problem. It just made the problem easier for more people to see.
I expect there there were foot licking miscreants before the internet came into being - we were just less likely to hear about them unless we were the licker or the lickee.
Holidays work for me.

Thanks Redbar for your optimism. I needed that.
The alternatives are doing well. But the big money is with adsense. It's just so depressing to see what I used to earn a year ago compare to this year. That I find hard to accept.

And that was a good thing.
I know these freaks exist, but things like this used to be confined to a specific area of the web with some controls in place so it wasn't in our faces. Some information just doesn't belong on mainstream media, and certainly not at the top of page one. There's no social value in that story. It's just a really distasteful attempt to gain likes and shares.
P0rn news should be confined to p0rn sites. Unfortunately, now that one news site and a major search engine have endorsed it, the social site sheeple will think it's perfectly acceptable and we should expect to see the limits of decency and good taste deteriorate even further.
Monkey see...

Every time the envelope is pushed, and no one pushes back, the lines of decency erode even further. What was once confined to the edges of society is now mainstream. The freak shows are now rewarded, which only encourages more of them. I really do feel sorry for people coming up today. I wonder if they are even aware that lines of decency used to exist.
My sites are squeaky clean and always will be. That's just me. But I'm sure I could make more money if they weren't.
Should we be having a red bar at the moment? I have 2 clicks so far from Australia and Philippines, that's it, nothing else from amywhere and I always have clicks from India.

Thanks very much to the USA for my Black Friday earnings!
In the UK, apart from the last two years, we had a Cyber-Monday but the retailers in the UK decided that Black Friday was a far better idea. It pushed my RPM up by about 2.5x yesterday with no apparent reduction in page views. Hopefully Cyber Monday will still occur on Monday with the same results. A bit like when your parents get divorced, you get two pressies at Christmas instead of one.

Just had my best two days ever in over 6 years with AdSense as measured by RPM! I'm expecting December to be a great month as retailers pull out all the stops to try and capture even more consumer spending by Americans. Low gas prices are a huge psychological positive to get Americans to open their wallets and buy more stuff they don't need.

So my site is perfect for holiday so this is my busiest time of the year. Compared to last year Black Friday and yesterday have matched the earning of last year, but this year traffic is 2x last year so that means RPM is 1/2 of last year. And what's interesting is that yesterday cpc prices fell sharply whereas last year the day after black Friday prices were identical to Black Friday. So that's a bit odd/concerning.

I expected my earnings to be lower at this time of year but not 66% of 2013, absolutely pitiful. Mentally I ought to stop checking stats until January, see how 2015 starts and then consider whether or not AdSense has almost died in my widget sector.

I looked at my stats a couple of hours ago, came back and refeshed the page and my 'Today so far' had gone down $1. Checked again 5 minutes later and it had gone down another $1.
It was about this time of year last year that this real-time claw-back thing started to become rampant. Haven't seen it for a while. Maybe starting up again for Christmas?

I'm enjoying some spectacular earnings the past few days. It's all relative of course. If I looked at last year, same time, this would be rather sad. But with my new low expectation outlook, right now I quite nice. Still transitioning but cleaning house has helped the earnings.

I'm over 200% of last November, so that's good. Not a huge number compared to the summer, but definitely an improvement for what is usually a spotty time of year for me.

Traffic up slightly over November 2013, November Adsense income down due to lower CPC.
Lots of mobile traffic running around 60% mobile visitors on weekends.
Total income for this year up 75%. Due affiliate sales and direct advertising.
Adsense income up 15% over 2013.
2014 is already my best year ever with one month to go. So no complaints.
Next year, might be living off what I made this year. You never know.

Sunday was easily my third best day of the month with the UK outperforming the US and smartphones generating nearly 35% of earnings with both an excellent CTR and CPC.

Fairly new to this game having only started earlier this year, but November has been my best month to date. Traffic up 10% over October, with Adsense earnings for the month up 27%.
Added Media net last week to a few pages on my site to test. Can't really figure it out though, as the first couple of days I was getting RPM of $2 and it has slowly dropped all week and is now at 0 RPM!

You have to give Media.net a few weeks to a few months to really perform. Not sure why (they claim they are tweaking it for you) but they told me it would be the case, and sure enough it was. For all I know, they were waiting to check the quality of my traffic.

According to Google, my Cyber Monday is off to a terrible start. Which I don't believe to be true given how the last few days have been very strong. But in my experience, days that start slow never really wind up with the expected earnings. Not the start I was hoping for. Come on click dump!
