hello guys, first, when I created my flash games web-site, and it had near 50 visitors in 1 day, and 2-3 clicks on ads, Adsense payed me at about 0.50 euro in one click, now when I have 300-350 visitors in a day, it pays me 0.03-0.06 € in one click, what is the matter? how can I improve my cpc? can anyone help me with that?

Sounds like smart pricing.

In short, Google doesn't have confidence that your users who are clicking on ads are leading to positive results for the advertisers.

why would you block it?

i bet my ass if you unblock and let all categories running you would make a lot more that 6 penny per click.

Advertisers advertise because they want to sell stuff (or want people to sign up for stuff) If your traffic doesn't buy stuff or sign up for stuff (and game traffic typically doesn't do as well in those areas) then you're not going to get the big value clicks.

But yes, blocking all the categories is probably overkill.

The best way to make money at AdSense is to capture people while they're in some part of a buying cycle. When they're playing flash games, they're not buying things.

OK. I know that flash games aren't the best category in adsense for making money... but 0.04 cpc is so fu*king low... )) R0meo, I'll unblock all categories for 1 week and let's see how will it work. thanks for advice.

You might also want to make sure the ads aren't too close to the game.

Unblock all categories. In my experience, blocking categories is rarely a good move.

Just let everything run. Categories, text and images, all types of ads. In my experience, trying to block and outsmart Google does not work.

Ember is right, I've found that blocking never accomplishes anything in terms of raising revenue. Google knows what they are doing.
