Looks like G is putting out new text ad features (or at least experimenting with them). I have a 160x600 on my site that looks like a combination of a text ad and a panel control but it's a text ad. Anyone else seen this?
Down from $240/day for 3 days to $70/day past 3 days.
If you're using enhanced text ads, you might want to take a look a your sites to see if these changes are in effect anywhere. They could be related to the decrease. They just appeared on my site today and seemed to have an almost immediate dampening effect on CTR. I'm not saying the changes are bad, only that they ad a certain graphical flare to the page that may or may not be desirable, depending on your layout. The new formats also move the ad's hot spot in certain circumstances.
Today is pennies it seems. It's that trend which says today is going to be a total bust. Seen this too many times lately. You just get a feel for your earning and the movement during the day. Like a doctor diagnosing an illness. I know my account and today appears like yesterday did. Not checking for the remainder of the day.
Adsense has been doing experiments and adjustments the whole year. It isnt my traffic that bothers me, it is the amount of money I'm generating. Practically, my earnings are half from what it used to be since December 2012.
Earnings have been decent, but seriously the click/earnings stats have never been so delayed. I'd say now 75% of my clicks/earnings appear in the reporting between 8pm-midnight. That's never been the case before and I know my traffic hours haven't changed at all. It's not a big deal, but it's definitely changed.

In my account it's been like that for awhile (though I'm still so habituated to checking that I do it all day anyhow, dumb as that is). Judging from the seemingly random up and down stats, it's looking more and more like AdSense is spending several days to validate clicks. Long gone is there any semblance to real time anything.
